my first linux experience was in 95, we got e-mail at the school i was attending and i learned how to use pine and lynx and talk, after school i left for quite a while until i installed mandrake 9 on my only pc and wiped out windows, my wife didnt like that, so mandrake was abandoned and windows prevailed... i used knoppix and backtrack until i got my laptop and installed ubuntu
I have Digital Cable, with the dvr box, i have can record any tv show i want, with on demand i can watch many tv programs, a ton of movies, with hbo and showtime i also get more on demand options... many movies are available on demand same day as the dvd release
look at it from a bussiness perspective... say an employee has a bad day and gets a little toasty and drives home, but on his out of the lot runs over brenda from accounting who is 6 mos pregnant. big nasty lawsuit, having a bar on campus is a big liability, just off site or down the road whatever, not on campus. i used to work for a company who had "team meetings" at a local pub the company picked up the tab. we had some fun times, and low incident rate, but things happen and drinking usually dosent help when things do happen
an apple console would have mulit-player functionality but you'd have to pay an extra $6.00 to download the app

you cant say they didnt know what they were doing, just look at the name "the PIRATE bay" who would think that they were pirating software?
