What does it matter if they don't know??

If you're surrounded by machines, you can only trust the person who programmed them. Who programmed your robot milk-maid? In the old days, it was probably the mafia.

If you're surrounded by people, then you can trust their morals. Oh, and people *do* ask who won the game last night. A lot.

Forget 20%. You have to double it first ($18) and THEN see what profit you get after subtracting all the costs you didn't mention - new buses, driver pensions, idle maintenance workers, inspections, license fees, parking lot property taxes, etc.

In theory, all of these fixed costs can go to zero - IF you do enough business. But in practice, with weak demand, you generally have to shoot for 100% profit margin and you might eke out 20% in the end.

Half-capacity can be seen as a generous assumption. For all you know, these buses run with 5 passengers - and profitably. Maybe that's where the $65 comes from :) $150 in costs (your estimate) / 5 passengers = $30 each, and then double it = $60-something. There you go.

The operative word is "bitter", not "engineer."

Anyway, Ayn Rand is like the comedian Gallagher. There are some people who love watching watermelons get smashed.

And there are others who just don't think it's that important.

I was surprised none of the games were Gold level. Is Silver playable? How about Honorable Mention (the vast majority) - is that a proof of concept?

Then again, the last time I checked in on Wine's progress, they were struggling with a popular 640x480 sprite-based game. It looks like they've come a long way since then.
