You parents have been through more tan you have, they have faced more adversity than you have, they have overcome more than you have.

Only an idiot would discount what your parent tells you. Of course, this is a given for most people above the age of 12 and below, say 20 something. But if you are over thirty and don't take advantage of your parents experiences and knowledge, you are a complete moron.

I can't believe the number of people that suggest that long term changes/commitments should be made because "now, oil is cheap". From the morons who think that means we should raise the gas tax to the idiots who think the U.S. Fracking industry can be killed.

Oil prices will go back up. And the second they do, the Frackers will open up shop again/increase drilling. etc. And, of course, that tax that was increased because "oil cost so little now" will make the increases all that much worse.

And the supreme irony is that all those Solar Panels MDSolar endlessly shills for cannot be made without oil. From creating plastics to generating the energy to make the glass to fueling the construction equipment to transport them, etc.

    3. TWC will always respond to outages because they want your money and don't want to get sued (yes, they do it in an incompetent manner). The government pretty much doesn't care. Resources will go to Electric, Water, Gas, and Storm drains first. So when will THEY fix internet outages?

On the other hand, providing dirt cheap access to higher speed connections will definitely kick TWC into gear...just look at their response when Google comes into a neighborhood.
