    So a handful of people don't know about or how to use the track changes features in Word and that means the "U.S." is incompetent?

    Then, they are discussion the reasons for success and they means are incompetent?

    I suspect if the original poster held him/herself to the same standards they would hold everyone else, they would probably just kill themselevs for being incompetent.

    Very interesting. It appears to me though that the global warming advocates want none of that. Shut off the grants, silence the critics, they are all Exxon employees, enerygy company paid shills, etc., etc.

    1. The U.S. Attorney's position is a political patronage job.
    2. The President can fire them anytime for any reason. Period.
    3. Clinton Fired all of them to get his guys in.
    4. Bush stupidly left many Clinton holdovers in power, he should have fired them all also.
    5. No mater what any breathless, emptyheaded DNC staffer or MSM stooge says, their cannot be a crime here. Period, over and out.

    This all depends on your viewpoint.

    I would challenge most politicians to walk through South Central LA without adequate precautions.

    Some nut job in Iraq blows up 30 people and it's a civil war. Some nut job in VA kills 30 people and it's a nut job.

    For the most part the large majority of Iraqi territory is doing very well thank you. You don't hear about that on the evening news (see previous comments on this topic).

    Yes, there is violence. But it is being perpetrated by a minority of the populace. The VAST majority just want to be left alone. But Islamofacists need to be in control, have everyone toe their line, so they kill to terrorize.

    I had thought that the life cycle of stars was pretty much figured out, including how long they last.

    But TFA talks as if it is a unusual and surprising that it is so old.

    So what gives?

    If the taxpayer was defrauded, then the local AG should be handling it.

    If it is an issue of scientific misconduct or fraud, then the university should handle it.

    If they handle it in an inqdaquate manner, then they will pay the price in reputation and future grants.

    All congressional hearings will get you is more global warming.

    So if Sub-tropical storms have been named only since 2003, then they must be excluded from the count when comparing past storm counts to current storm counts. What are the odds that will happen?

    And consider this: They have begun naming sub-tropical storms, the most recent is the one off of the FL coast now. This was not done in the past, only real hurricanes had been named.

    So what does that mean? More named storms each year than in the past! Defacto proof of an increase of huurricanes!

    Talk about manipulating the data.

    funny you should mention cars.

    On all of them you press the gas pedal to make them go (on the right side) and the break to make them stop (left side). Clutch , if you hjave one goes in the middle. Now imagine some yob decided that it would be "better" to have the rearranged? We'd all have to learn to drive again.

    Since I"ve been in computers, I've learned Fortran, Basic, Cobol (Still can't be beat for some things), C, C+, C++, Objective C, (was old to learn C#, but I told them what to do with that) Javascript, Java, blah blah blah. It's all the same thing: decision trees, iteration structures, Disk IO, etc.

    Ahhh...I have been doing this kind of thing for 11 years. Make a method called BreakHere and condition it on some key combination and put it at the beginning of every method. If I enter a method with that key combination held down, it drops into a trace mode.

    It is obvious that many people believe it is OK to leak secret information as long as it is "for the greater good". But the question of what is the greater good often depends on your political leanings.

    So I ask...

    What is the greater good?
    What kinds of things do you think should not be leaked?
    Who do you think has the appropriate knowledge to decide?

    And last, what should happen to someone who decides incorrectly?
