We spend more money on international aid than anyone else.

Yeah, we toast son's of bitches that commit capital crimes, but it takes 10 years and millions of dollars, unlike your precious Palestinian terrorist government that will go from accusation to execution in a few hours...usually skipping the trial.

Bush sacked U.S. Prosecutors you moron, not judges. And there was nothing wrong with it because those jobs are political appointments.

I am so tired of punk wads bitching and moaning about the U.S. while their own little third world, backwater hovel is taking money (my money) from us.

And if you don't have the guts to sign on and let everyone know who you are, then you can just sit down and shut the F**k up.

  14. Re:Middle-class on Revolution, Flashmobs and Brain Implants in 2035 · · Score: 3, Informative

Public schools are a reflection of the surrounding community.

Upper middle class communities usually have good public schools for several reasons:
    1. A good tax base. This means good school buildings and equipment, higher paid teachers, extra-cirricula activities.
    2. Ususally involved parents. You can't be middle class and be irresponsible, drug addicted, violent, etc...not that there aren't exceptions.
    3. Low crime rates. Kids that don't have to worry about getting shot on the way to school usually do better at scool.

Lower class...I mean "economically disadvantaged" communities usually have bad schools for the inverse reasons stated above. However, there are many examples of communities that fall into this category who's public schools are exceptional. This is almost exclusivly because of dediated teachers and parents.

Of course, this issue can only be superficially be discussed in this kind of forum. Hell, you can get a doctorate in this stuff and hundreds of books address it.

Journalist have too high an opinion of themselves. They publish things from "anonymous" sources (made up, fake but accurate) and then hide behind the 1st to avoid getting caught. They spin facts to meet their political agendas (which they all have...ever hear of Advocacy Journalism?)and omit facts that don't back their interpretation of events.

What was best was him talking about his "ethics". If his ethics allow for arson and assault, then I guess I could whack him upside the head and burn his house down around him.
