    I came up with the idea a long time ago: someone should create a separate blocklist for "annoying ads" only. I'd make it, but I have other projects already running, some of them pretty time-consuming. If this "annoying ads only" list became as well-known as EasyList, it would actually put selection pressure on advertisers to tone down the ads!

    It's because those of us who can type quickly have lots of experience in environments where it is essential to get your meaning across both correctly and as quickly as possible. It's difficult trying to get a point across when everyone else is on voice chat and you don't have a microphone, especially at a typing speed of 30wpm!

    Grandparent post (not me) wants to mark some cookies as "Trusted" (for instance, because they keep specific sessions open that -must- be kept open for one or another purpose), and then delete the rest regularly on exit. Yeah, I'd like that too. On the other hand, I'm not good enough at programming to come close to implementing such myself, so I can study for another two years, or I can ask for help.

    I suspect this is as much due to Crappy Router than Crappy Line. Can you replace your box and see what happens, first, before jumping on your provider?

    I am a girl. Being on call all day and all night / programming until mentally exhausted / etc. is not something I am willing to do. So yeah, I'm going into teaching. EVEN THOUGH I AM A GEEK.
