  1. Bet my right arm on Half Keyboard, Full Bore · · Score: 1

I personnaly think it's a big wasted of money especially for 99$ US. I'll bet you my right arm that the company will not make money with anybody who has more than 1 hand.

  2. Multi-monitor on PanQuake · · Score: 1

I would love trying this with a multi-monitor card. Maybe a G400 Dual Head and another card. 3 monitors should be enough to enjoy the panoramic view.

  3. Re:3D on MGA - closed source only on XFree 4.0.3 Released · · Score: 1

Late me clear up some issues.

The hallib has nothing to do with DRI. The hallib is used to set up DualHead and other little features.

The G450 for that release does need HALlib. But there's some patchs that I submitted to Xfree86 to have the G450 running completely open source. This driver even has the G450 DualHead. The new driver did not make the 4.0.3 release. But the next version should support it. Don't think that Matrox does not want to make their card work Open Source.

The open source version of the driver should be on the matrox web site soon.

Online communites can make money. But all the information that they gather up will be stolen by other people once it goes on the net. An online community can make money, no doubt. But they could make more money by selling the information in the form of books. I'm sure these online communities are available right now.

Is this device only going to work on IBM machines? I see that the prerequites are all IBM systems. It's useless if it is. I feel that 8MB is really not enough anyways. At 49$ on top of that! I rather bue an external zip drive or something similar.

By the way, a lot of people who are "born athletes" do solve differential equations. I consider myself one of them. A lot of these top atheletes end up graduating from college and becoming great athletes. Kids need to be introduced to lots of different things. He won't have any chance of wanting to play sports if he is never introduced to it.

I used to do tech support. The customer told me that he bought a Flat Panel display. That was at the time when they were really expensive. I asked him why he needed one. And he asnwered that he had no more space on his desk.I told him that with the price of the monitor he could by a new desk or break down the wall of his and rebuild it a little further.

  15. Montreal High Speed Internet on Florida Court Overturns AT&T Cable Ordinance · · Score: 1

I hate the fact that I can't choose which Internet Cable I want to use. In Montreal we only have the choice of ADSL from one company and Cable from another. That's it! I think that other companies should be allowed to open compete with the big boys.

  16. NBC and CNN on Election Wrapping Up (Part 2) · · Score: 1

Notice that NBC is saying that it's equal at 242. But CNN is saying it's 246 to 242 for Bush. It's obvious that NBC is doing on purpose to leave it equal for the ratings. Smart move.
