mine was defective as well, had a bad pixel on the bottom screen, i went back an hour later to eb and they exchanged it for me, she told me that she had set aside a few units just in case of preorder returns.
a few days ago i noticed the same problem, it was i believe in one of their mail servers (which i now see is out of the list of mx entries) see if it is working now.
they should have NO right, the use of voice over the internet is started by other companies not the telco, so why should we have to pay the telephone company they arent doing anything new. If I have Cable television and I switch to DirecTV should i still have to pay the Cable company because I am no longer using them? of course not.

I use this currently and for the most part it runs fine, operates on radio frequency, but for some reason though my brother can't use those, i guess theres no way to cause the two not to interfere, maybe logitech should of put different frequencies on them? i know theres a channel button, but it hasnt seemed to work.
I think this proves exactly how important the DeCSS case is. The first round basically set a precedent, any project in linux, or any other OS for that matter, can be sued if the company wishes to. Correct me if im wrong but if we win the DeCSS case (eventually) then this case has no grounds.
if you had any clue waht you were talking about you would know DeCSS is not just about linux its about the world and how it operates. if you actually read up on it you would know that its going to affect each and every one of us. but if you enjoy living under a rock in your corporate run world go right ahead. but i suggest reading up on it.
ok fine big deal i mispelled ABSURD, im not perfect, never said i was, but at least i have the balls to post a message without being an "Anonymous Coward", i never said i knew what being a parent was like, nor did i say that you cannot function without cell phones, but isn't that why we invent technology, to help improve life? and for the record, i dont recieve any allowance, pay for my cell phone by MYSELF, and i dont need the vibrating function as i know when to put my phone on silent. my whole point was that this is censorship. oh yah and speaking of looking up "polite" and "etiquette" and "considerate" you might want to do the same, or you could just wash out your mouth with soap.
you might not be able to deliver that "life saving technique" but it gives you a chance to say goodbye. maybe thats not important to you but that means alot to me.
ok so im guessing you stay with your kids 24 hours a day 7 days a week, never go to work, you home tutor them so they dont have to leave the house, and have all your food delivered to your house so you dont have to go shopping and you can shield them from the world. what about missing an emergency call about your wife being in the hospital or your father, there are thousands of calls you CANNOT AFFORD to miss, and i hope your not the person who ends up getting the short end of the stick because of this Q-Zone idea, or better yet i hope IM not the person who gets the short end of the stick.
this is absolutely obsurd, cell phones are there for a reason, i for one would not like to be the person missing an emergency phone call, where possibly my child (if i had one) was in danger and i didnt get the phone call because i was in the friggin Q-zone so joe-shmo can not be annoyed. this is cencorship. If this goes in to effect do you have the option of Q-zone feature when you get the phone or will it be automatic for every phone? just my 2 cents
It seems to be like Sega is asking for trouble? Are they asking for Sonty to not leave them even a small portion of the market when PSX2 comes out? Because sony has the power to blow dreamcast out of the water. You don't piss off someone with a grenade in their hand (or nuke in sony's case). Wonder how long before the Dreamcast emulator for PSX2 =)
Finally, this is what i was hoping before? Anyone konw if it is coming out before July it would be really great to have this when I follow phish for a few weeks this summer. Hopefully this will drop prices/increase RAM on the digital mp3 players with RAM the size of floppies.
I think the idea is a good one, and im glad to see Monty Python is willing to buy into it, just get rid of the ie5/mediaplayer portion and then you'll get alot more of a viewer audience. It doesnt make sense to try and restrict your viewer audience. The price also seems a little high for 30 minutes but im guessing if this catches on the movie prices could drop. just my 2 cents
Wonder how long it will take for someone to add a hard drive to the Dreamcast to store the games after the first rental? Or hey even a floppy/cdrom drive to copy the games from your computer to the console. Any Takers?
It was my understanding that when they released the DVD it was to be done "right" meaning with deleted scenes, directors cuts, etc. and that Mr. Lucas would not have time to do this until after the other 2 episodes are completed. I for one would like to see it on DVD and will not pay for VHS but I can see where he does have a point. I dont see why there cannot be two versions, one of the movie released now and a collectors edition a few years from now. just my 2 cents

I heard in Office 10 there gonna attatch a coin slot where you have to insert 25 cents every minute if you want to keep typing.
