For those running CentOS 6 you can get the latest BTRFS code by installing one of Oracle's mainline kernel packages from here: http://public-yum.oracle.com/repo/OracleLinux/OL6/playground/latest/x86_64/. I know I could compile my own kernel but there is no point when Oracle did the work for me. I am no fan of Oracle but what they are doing with the "playground" yum repository is pretty neat.
For $59 a month I get Comcast's Business Class service (12 down/2up) along with 5 static IPs which I use to host things like mail off a personal server. I've been using their service for almost 3 years now without much issue (the support also is a lot better which is worth it in case you do run into any hiccups). I'm in the Twin Cities area and am pretty sure this service is available to much of the metro area so you may want to give them a call.
That "excercise" was conducted by a bunch of former Bush officials and other neocons. It wasn't a test of our cyber security, it was a propaganda tool designed to embarass the Obama administration and urge a further erosion of our civil liberties.
I'm pretty sure the Obama administration is embarrassing themselves just fine on their own... Also how is the healthcare bill NOT a way for the guberment to further erode our civil liberties?
It frustrates me that these bureaucrats really do not get it, well maybe they do and just want to force more unnecessary laws on us. The television companies have obviously performed some cost analysis and decided while the consumers power costs maybe slightly higher, the TV will cost $1200 instead of $2400. According to this CNET article, a typically 50-inch plasma LCD would cost an average household around $63/yr to run. This legislation is going to do nothing but slow the sale of TVs in California which may result in job loss for the individuals who work for these TV manufactures. The economy has slumped enough, why can't we just leave it alone so a recovery will come in a year rather than years.

Agreed. It's funny how the Democrats call what conservative citizens are doing as "Astroturfing" yet 2 democrat groups (One is run by Obama) are spending a great deal of cash to influence public opinion. Hypocrisy is an amazing thing....
I am sick of reading about how the "evil corporations" are just raping and pillaging us everyday. The people that spew this garbage everyday are the same ones that voted and still defend a man who can't even figure out whether he's for or against a single-payer health care system. How has the government helped us especially with the phone companies? After the AT&T breakup the government did allow them to merge back together did they not? Instead of figuring out ways to "subsidize" telcos (which just takes money out of the public's pockets from a different angle), why don't we try lowering the corporate tax which has proven to work before?

Being an iPhone owner it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing my $300 phone that is so much better than the rest can be brought to its knees by an SMS message. GG Apple.
So true, he can blame Bush all he wants like most other libs but fact of the matter is it is Obama's issue now. That means the projected 16 Trillion-dollar national debt can be pushed on Obama who will have outspent every President combined including Bush 43. GG
If all you did was install the Wireless software (I'm guessing they just don't allow you to download just the driver) then this is ridiculous and they will never get a dime from me. Even though I have wiped every laptop I have purchased and installed Linux doesn't mean that this is ok.
I have something similar setup in that I got a FreeBSD setup with jails (openldap, NFS, Apache, etc) which hosts all of the home directories for my machines. Works quite nicely
I'm glad this got modded up because I absolutely love hearing everything about our deal leader. Are we also going to modup a story about how Obama's shit had corn in it?
