    The full 'text' of the patent (writing not having been invented yet) was 'round thingy'. Fortunately this was before the invention of the patent lawyer so there were no infringement suits, although Og did club a few people who tried to steal his wheel idea.

    While the parents may have failed to teach a proper respect for authority they did apparently pass on superior musical taste. All in all I would call it a win.

    I don't think many people have a problem with the fucking, but rather with the subsequent 9-ish months of issues.

    9 months? More like 18+ years. And that assumes said child moves away to college right after high school, gets a good job right out of college, etc.

    I actually find the "2012 end of the world" hokum to be quite useful. It helps me identify the idiots. Somehow get the Mayan 2012 calendar end as the subject of conversation in a group and then note who buys into it. Do not ask these people anything in the way of meaningful questions. Stick to subjects like what they watched on television if you must talk to them although even that can be scary.

    really? do you think that malware written to take advantage of exploits in the windows OS won't work on linux? thanks for that revelation. linux wins again.

    You never know, Perhaps if WINE is running a Linux host could be at risk... (Not that I know of any viruses that could infect a Linux computer running WINE, except for one case where user intervention is required, but there is a first time for everything.)

    The Note II sold 3.000.000 phones already, even though not all US carriers introduced it, yet. It's more successful than you seem to believe.

    Very impressive, particularly since the Note II is WAY over the $199 'sweet spot' for smartphones.

    I bought a S III last weekend, I had to call 8 stores to find one in stock for my carrier (Sprint) because they are selling so fast. And I live in an area that doesn't even have LTE coverage yet.

    It's odd that I don't see GM and Chrysler being investgated. Or perhaps the EPA itself needs to be investigated...

    They have been, and they have been caught. 2001 Dodge Ram, 1 mpg overstatement.

    I had a 2002 Dodge Neon that I bought new in 2001. No matter how conservatively I drove it I got 5-6 MPG less than the EPA estimates. I had a dealer check it out and they said that my mileage was typical. The Mazda3 that replaced it got 3MPG better than EPA estimates and the Altima I have now gets 2MPG better.

    My real world mileage on my Fiat 500 is about 5 mpg more than the sticker label. (42 mpg average)

    In my experience the EPA figures have usually off by several MPG, with "American" cars typically having lower MPG than the EPA estimates and "foreign" cars typically higher. It's odd that I don't see GM and Chrysler being investgated. Or perhaps the EPA itself needs to be investigated...

    Good idea, but you also need to make sure there is a fairly even split between parties to avoid "all the idiots are on the same side" issues.
