And you overlooked the idiotic comment blaming the iPad explosion on leaving it plugged in
And you overlooked the "in summer" from the "idiotic comment". Europe is not used to the heat that has been happening recently, and this incident happening in august is certainly not a coincidence.
It seems that keeping the iPads/iPhones plugged into an electric outlet all the time, and running all the time, has an unexpected outcome. Moreover we're in summer...
but I can see why they want to do this as they have a lot of original content
No, no excuse here. They already added series trailers that start automatically at the home page, annoying enough already. When people binge watch series, they don't want to be interrupted with something different.
I guess we all knew the honeymoon would end one day:-(
Actually, it does so at turtle like pace. There was the VPN blocking policy, that affected many users. Netflix did it and waited... no noticeable subscription impact.
So they keep going. Next is showing ads for their own series. There will be no impact either, plus subscribers will get used to it.
In a year or so, ads for other stuff, then between episodes, then, ultimately, within episodes, like the good old tv ; maybe at that level, people will want to see what competition is doing.
Microsoft didn't say No.
Nope, doesn't take that much time since I stopped using Outlook .
they implemented an unsharp-mask algo
Cannot fight with UK brexiters.
Anyone has some statistics number of Apple explosions / Samsung explosions? Planes crash, but comparing Cessna and Boeing ...
I am not a Samsung fanboy
No. You're an Apple hateboy, no much better.
Unfortunately Profit/Ethics is still much larger than 1.
Don't be a child, you're not using it.

Not subtle, might I say (and not funny).
Metaphorically, you mean.

Bad quality software is everywhere nowadays ; it's only when faulty software kills that people realize programming requires skills.
but... with such a name, Chandra Kill, what do you expect?
It could actually load Apple Maps, though
If they start showing me unskippable ads, I'll immediately cancel my subscription simply to send them a message
It's what some people said after Netflix started to block VPNs...

Left Netflix a few months back, and I even less regret it.
$999? You mean a used one?
A jack makes a big difference.
It usually easier to improve something based on an original idea (while not everybody does it)
You, sir, have to much free time!
And we loved the 6502 so much :`(
It has a jack!! This is (for me) a big ++.
