Until someone finds a way to make gold from, say, sea water, gold is one of the rare thing that represents a tangible value - it has its highs and lows but it survives wars and economic crisis.
Funny how people reply to this obvious troll, like if it was a serious claim. Anyway we should keep AC posting as it is useful sometimes (and moderation does work).
That's a lot of words to basically say, they remastered something.
A bit more than that: "That's a lot of words to basically say, they remastered something since these worthless movies tend to get forgotten ; we remastered them to trigger some publicity and hope some people who don't know (yet) that even in 4K these movies are of no interest might open their wallet".
"the glass will survive up to 15 drops". There is a counter on the phone SSD. Each time the phone drops, the OS does 'counter--'. When counter reaches 0, the phone activates a tiny hammer that hits at a very specific place. In order to survive more than 15 drops, switch off the phone before throwing it to the ground.
How much does the 'salvage company' get if Russia receives 50%, tourism 10% and "money that's not going to Russia will reportedly be invested in a railroad line"?
wooooooosh ;-)
True on the taxes side. But Google has many people at work, and that contributes to grease the wheels of the Economy.

It will be created, at least secretly.
But two should cancel each other out (unless they're from the same side).
It's a y2k-like bug ; if the phone drops 16 times, it's back to 0.
they realize they can fuel Cold War 2.0 with it
I'd go with 2.1 at this time.
The physics at the time didn't say it was too heavy for that ship.

Drop on whatever. Phones have accelerometers and other sensors that can account for the actual number of drops. You can't fool the 15 count.
A new app "Drop count" will tell you how many drops the phone suffered. At 14, be careful.

Some people still take ACs comments seriously ....

They would never do that, 1) that open doors do alternatives solutions 2) that shows other countries how to get rid of Google
