I would imagine that the $70k average figure includes captains with the major airlines that have 20+ years of experience who are making $150k per year, but unfortunately their salaries are retiring with them. Not long ago I was thinking about a career change and flying seemed like a great job, but as I researched I found that for the first 5-10 years pilots make around $20k. My bank account can't handle that kind of pay cut. Airline pilots are severely overworked and underpaid and are responsible for hundreds of lives a day.
We were recently in the same position. We were running Symantec Endpoint protection and it was expensive and a pain to manage. After doing some research we switched to Trend Micro and like it so far. There is a Linux client and everything, including installs, can be managed from the server. TM is a little quirky at first, but once you get the hang of it it is a very cost effective and manageable solution.
A cocaine user is a user whether it is legal or not. The same goes for nonusers. I don't know anyone, that currently does not use, that would go out and buy a rock just because it has been decriminalized.
Cory Doctorow is right on as usual. I am guilty of downloading books, but I hate reading the electronic copies. There are countless times when I have downloaded a book to check it out, and if I liked it, I would buy a hard copy.
