    Actually, the subscription thing was introduced a year ago. You can still opt for the standalone one-time license though.

    1Password is moving to an all subscription pricing model. If someone has purchased 6 they'll receive all updates to 6, but that's it.

    From Dave Teare directly "So no, I will not promise that 1Password 7 or 8 will allow licenses to be used instead of memberships. These releases are too far in the future to make any promises about."

    I would have said the same a month ago, but 1Password is changing their pricing to $36 a year subscription.

    I'm switching to LastPass.

    I'd say it shows a huge problem with their predictions. They went up there to prove their point of climate change with a staged set and they were proven wrong.

    And it's not one ship. It has happened more than once.

    My point is meteorologists are frequently wrong about predicting weather for the next day, yet we're supposed to change the behavior of the entire population of earth for predictions that are centuries in the future. Some of those same scientists took a boat to a place they have under observation to prove their predictions RIGHT NOW and they were wrong.

    Wrong. Wrong. WRONG.

    So if they were so wrong about the current condition of a place they've been monitoring for decades, why should anyone trust what they have to say about that same place a hundred years in the future?

    Whoops, they got stuck by ice they swore wasn't there. They had to be rescued. BTW, this isn't the first "global warming ice melting" ship to be stuck in ice & needed rescue.

    The government creates no money. None. What happens when they run out? Who will pay the taxes? What happens when the govt needs more money than the amount they have to pay more citizens? What is going to stop more citizens from working, paying taxes, and just taking money?

    When OneDrive was unlimited I was a subscribers. But they reduced it and now they've reduced it again to 1TB. Rather than deal with the few people (their words) that were seriously abusing the feature, they dicked over everyone.
