As of now, the big money the MPAA provides is still a prerequisite for a blockbuster action flick; smashing three dozen cars ain't cheap. But with improved CGI even that cost will be brought to effectively zero.
On the one hand you have a point here, but on the other hand there is a large visual difference between a practical effects with a little touch up and straight CGI.
Google has a slight advantage in that none of their services other than advertising are really making money, and not many have to be as long as adverting can keep them afloat as well as it has.
I played it earlier today (Thanks Borderlands GOTY), it"s exactly what I expected from Duke Nukem game. Good or bad it's very much a "boy's game" with toilet humor, aliens, a buff dude fucking the aliens up, and chicks. When you start the game off taking a piss you kind of set the bar for expectations low.
I've noticed most of those problems are gone if you go when the place opens during the week and find somewhere cheap, I pay $5 ($7 for a 3d) and it feels like I have a private screening. Sometimes the movie is a little late though (I talked with one of the managers about it on my out one day and he said they wait a max of 10 mins if they have less than %10 of the theater is sold). Then you can go to lunch afterward and bypass the concessions entirely. It's also got to see if new movies are worth it (usually reviews from average people are online by Monday after a movie comes out on Friday.)
After months this article got posted, the App Store STILL DOES NOT work properly. You still can't update an app from within the device by hitting "update". The button does nothing!
lolwut? My 3.1.3 Iphone 2g updates apps through the appstore just fine. That could be the only difference between running 3.1.3 and 3.1.2.
What kind of name is that? No one is going to call it Nintendo Stream, they'll call it Wii 2 or Wii Stream. All the work of name recognition that was done for the Wii will have to be done again for this new system unless they come up with a 'backwards compatible' name. Rumors and speculation, the article says.
I willing to bet that "Stream" is just the development name, like "Revolution" for the Wii and "Atlantis" for the GBA.
Really, I've heard it all over music, someone should tell "rappers" it's not acceptable since they use it in every other song.
Had the series been managed well, it may not have dried up like it did.
There is a version that's been managed better, it's called 'Rock Band".
The apocalypse might happen, but Valve will never know how to count to 3.
Solution: Burn them with fire.
But then you run the risk of getting charged with arson and/or some sort of murder charge. I'm not sure if it's worth it.

(What greedy company wouldn't want it be illegal to not have their services.)
It's not just IT. Jobs in general can either be very good, very bad, or in between
FTFY
That's still cheap, you need a fine and them to pay back all of it. Then start raising the fine as they try to not give the money back.
That's a very groovy mutation.
Only superpowers and eye colors are groovy mutations. Some mutations are terrible.
Hey now, I got a one of the Xbox 360 HD-DVD players around here that I picked up at a pawn shop.

Agreed, the nerd in me still thinks he's a douche but the redneck in me thinks this is a good thing to try.

Just wait for the Game Of The Year Edition and get the whole lot for the same price (or less) as the original game was.
Except that won't come out unless someone buys the original run of the game.
I'm curious as to what your idea of "do it properly" was?
IMO: Even the Nazis got the Nuremberg Trials. Granted several committed suicide beforehand, but the trials still happened.
Well there's also a rule 34: "There is a porn of it."
I'd hate to see the car class being used for trucks. ;)
Well they did make those El Caminos and Rancheros...

Pfft "Bejeweled", I keep an old Nokia around to play some "Snake".
Theft of life, asshole. After you murder somebody, you get all of their remaining days.
So if you keep killing people you can live forever? I don't think it works like that.
You forgot all the links to wikipedia.
Personally I just think Valve doesn't want to release any games with 3 in the title.
Daniel Jackson much?
At least they kept Dr. Frasier dead, alternate universe Frasier popped up but the one important one stayed dead.
