I bought this kit for my son. He spends hours working on the provided example circuits and trying to improve them on his own. Everything just snaps together. Great Stuff. They even have a deluxe kit with computer interface.

I have the E-Machines M6811 from Best Buy for $1600 after Rebate. AMD Mobile Athlon 64 3400+ 512 MB PC2700 80GB HD Radeon 9600 64MB 15.4" WideScreen DVD+-RW 4 USB2.0 1 1394
I am a current user of AOL's Music Net service. They gave me a 30 day free trial and I thought what the heck. The amount of music in the catalog is very limited right now and you must use an AOL provided software to listen to the music. The AOL software is also the only way to burn the music to CD. The software is not very good when compaired to listen.coms RHAPSODY software of which I am also a user. In the end I will not continue with the musicNet service after my free 30 day trial as they just do not provide anything that I think is worth even $4 a month.
If people would read the information provided you would see that the thing LOCKS! onto your wrist and can not be unlocked by the kid. There would be no "leaving it at home" or "putting it were you are suposed to be". It can be unlocked by the parent remotely via the web or with the provided key fob device. Read people Read.

I do not think that the media companies will like this. You will notice that one of the largest cable companies, Time Warner, is not listed as one of the companies thinking about this. I think this is because they have a stake in streaming video and audio unlike AT&T. Also, with AOL customers who are switching to highspeed the only difference between regular AOL and Highspeed AOL is that you get extra streaming video/audio content. They are having enough problems just getting AOL members to switch, I do not think it would help to up the price anymore.
A solution to this problem would be to only put a cap on bytes transfered from the internet and not the companies local network. Then they could provide streaming content and mirror popular download sites like tucows etc. and customers would not have to worry as much about breaking the cap just to get the latest version of netscape or other software.
I think it would be great to have one motherboard that supported processors from multiple vendors. Mai's web site says that the Teron PX board will support PPC, MIPS, and X86 processors.
Brings a whole new meaning to "Dual Boot".
You could develop in X86 Linux, shutdown swap processors, reboot in PPC Linux recompile and test.
