That and other new technologies. I mean, c'mon, when a service like Omnisky doesn't serve the small market (*cough* Albany, NY) you live in, you know you have to get out.
And this same "Ripley" novel was made into a film once before -- in 1960, it was released as "Purple Noon," a French-Italian thriller starring Alain Delon and directed by Rene Clement.
Tom Christensen is a pretty prolific poster here, he likes Perl (and I'm reading "Learning Perl" right now, he's a co-author).. Apparently a lot of people have something against him, I don't know why. Your typical flamers. . .
Seems like the PIII-xxxE's are more in line with the Athlon performance numbers than the straight up PIII-xxx's. I have a PIII-550, and according to those charts, the PIII-550E blasts my chip out of the water.
Now it seems like it's a question between the PIII-xxxE's and the Athlons... Does anyone have information on motherboards?
Since I'm majoring in Computer Science, which is related to computers, and you are willing to take the fall for anything that happens with computers -- thanks. My GPA is a 2.0 thanks to you.
Actually, since Quake was GPLed, I just downloaded & installed shareware Quake (to get a map of the level), and am about to browse the source code of it. I'm sure a lot of other people are doing the same.
The BMW 3 Series, The BMW 5 Series, and the BMW 7 Series (Ignore the X5 & Z's).
The 3/III series should be the most economic. Lowest prices, and not exactly bleeding edge. Like BMW, not the testing grounds for the newest technologies.
The 5/V series should focus on style & performance. Where seasoned Palm/BMW buyers go to shop for their second PDA/vehicle.
And the 7/VII should be the most expensive, top of the line PDA/Car available. Testing grounds for bleeding edge technologies, where you go when you have money to burn.
Nice to see Slashdot actually following up on some of their older articles. It seems like Slashdot devolved into a site just trying to generate hits by creating a ruckus.
Anyway, " ' Patent reviews are rare if not non existent,' Giga Information Group Kazim Isfahani said." Does anyone else find a problem with this? For all the patents that Slashdot has screamed about, has anyone requested patent reviews?
Good point -- A city/town that shuts down early is no friend to a geek. 24 hour access to food (both supermarket & delivery & eat-in) is a necessity.

i think he meant "US" as in the direct object of "we" (with emphasis). not "US" as in the United States.
All *I* want is for OmniSky to serve the Albany (NY) area. Argh! Oh yea, and my Palm Vx to ship... (I've been waiting forever for it...)
Strange. That previewed correctly. Anyway, & l t ; is the opposite of > (I would type it in, but it'll probably mess up again.)
> = & g t ; (without the spaces -- for greater than).
Hope this helps, even thought it's dreadfully offtopic. :)
Ah well.. Every other time I preview, and there's nothing to change. The one time I *don't* preview....
As for typing in the code for the hyperlink, I don't know about anyone else, but for me, I just do it naturally.

Yea, it was Carolyn Gudmundson before.
Yes. It would be funny as hell. Just like this.

Who's to say either has to dominate?
I was reading this article last night...

I'd prefer if you just got me a 4.0. Thanks in advance!

I'll see you in court.

Thank you.
The Brain.
If only I could code as fast as I thought...
Therefore this shouldn't be under "It's funny, Laugh." It should be under "It's nauseating, puke." :)
When I think of Palm, I think of BMWs...

Just my thoughts, though
