I'll take the karma hit and say what everyone else is thinking: How is this news for nerds? WTF IS ZONK SMOKING NOW? I think I'll join the ever growing crowd that just blocks Zonk's stories. Already today we had "podjacking". Now it's reports that MS Word has a feature that actually works but some people didn't think of it and got busted.
Yeah, this is off-topic but it need to be said. Mod be down, I'm comfortable with the size of my UID.
Take the below registration for respam.org. The address is where the server is but it doesn't list which of the 34 floors in that telco hotel it's on. The email address will get to me, eventually. The phone number is bogus (super extra credit points to they that can tell me where that phone number came from.) The important line is GODA-011238625 which links to my godaddy account and godaddy will be able to tell who I am. They took the credit card info and they can also link it to my 30 other domain which mostly have the right info (i.e.: nethead.com) which you can see I don't hide at all. So, the what's the problem?

No doubt. It was almost a month of walking past them on the way to work before I even noticed them. Very low key space. Nice area of town to work in though... endless lunch choices!
I'm trying to see how this is better than Supermicro's 2U 6024H-T (http://www.supermicro.com/products/system/2U/6024 /SYS-6024H-T.cfm) or even thier 1U 6014P-TR (http://www.supermicro.com/products/system/1U/6014 /SYS-6014P-TR.cfm) which holds 4 hot-swap SATA drives, dual PS, Dual Intel® 64-bit Xeon®. Slap in 4x250GB drives and you have 1 (one) Helluva terabyte server at a very decent price. We use these for showing people pictures of other peoples' bathrooms (http://windermere.com/ among other things.
I'll be on http://ww7ra.org/ vhf on the drive home tonight. -Joe

Microsoft DID write the basic code for the C64. 8kB for the BASIC and 8kB for the 'BIOS.'
Silly. There's no money in that!
You're new here? I'm in a pissy mood today and have karma capital burn.
Fsck linux. You can be sure that NetBSD will run on it, some how, some way.
My BlackBerry fits most of that and was only $100 with a very reasonable plan.
It's a Zonk article. What did you expect?
How about 1 yen?
