You hatebois can say what you want but I'm considering buying this so I can sell it in five years or so for a big profit when it shows nostalgia from times gone by.
I feel the same way. The ways to work around Apple's arbitrary restrictions are all getting blocked now. I love OSX/MacOS but if Apple keeps going on like this my next computer will be a self-built running Linux again.
It's not only the pro's that are complaining. Even the fanbois are now lamenting the removal of the MagSafe and the SD slot. Apple has lost its way since Steve's ideas have dried up.
I have an early 2011 13" MBP that I'd like to keep for four years more. The thing looks like new and the battery is now at 83% of its original capacity. You can say from Apple what you want but their hardware is the best on the market by far.
I frequent pro-Apple sites like MacRumours and Ars Technica and most Apple owners there seem to think that you can't live with hardware that is more than two years old.
This so supercool! With one modification you releave a family from certain horrible genes for all generations from then on! Finally daughters can be born without the breast cancer gene that gave their mothers and grandmothers this horrible disease.
Come to the Netherlands to see what we did to protect our country against the consequences of climate change that we are dealing with we are facing NOW and then dare say that again you moron. Islands in the pacific have disappeared because the sea is rising. Miami is brining and drowning but in your little part of the world nothing seems to have changed in your short live so there are no problems? It's an idiot like you who's in power now in the US and who will make sure that the US will have big problems due to climate change in the near future.
If this moron in Inferno had just introduced the virus he developed somewhere secretly instead of shouting about it all over TV and internet first he would have saved the world:-).
It doesn't reflect that they habe obtained the market they want. It reflects that Steve is dead and Tim is prepared to trade usability for thinness. This of course will be tolorated for a while by the avid Apple fanboys but even they are losing patience now. If things go on like this Apple is nowhere by the time their new campus is finished.
I thought Apple was all about being creative and using your Mac to make videos and music and whatnot. And now they want to turn people into couch potatoes? Steve just turned around in his grave again.
Have you ever touched an Apple product?
If that were true we would have had micro-SD slots in iPhones since the beginning.
Just wait until the new iMac arrive and you'll agree with me.
Indeed you're right. But that concerned the 15 and 17" models. I have the indestructable 13" inch one.
That's only the last few years.
You hatebois can say what you want but I'm considering buying this so I can sell it in five years or so for a big profit when it shows nostalgia from times gone by.
And why is that? "Because they're ugly" is not a valid answer.
You're a walking wallet to every company.
You don't have to buy a new laptop every year you know.

Luckily gut feelings turn out to be mostly wrong.

At least China has a long term policy for 'greening' their country.

The coming four years are crucial in combating climate change. Now Trump is president, we have lost that battle even before we started it.
He could be accidentally shot at an NRA convention.
The EU is also breathing down FB's neck about this. They're in for a rough time.

Man, you're a genius! I could never have come up with even one of those ideasand here you are, just sprinkling them around like it's nothing. Amazing!

Their pointless what?
