It still works to use a PC to "fix" your smartcard to get all the channels and movies for free, we still do it. Just don't leave your fixed card in over night, they do random checks and will zap a card getting all the channels and movies
If you ever watch ZDTV you'd notice that they have a big deal with Intel to give away a couple tons of the net cams, then have people call in and ask questions on the air and such... it would be great if some of us linux and solaris users could get on there also... and tell Leo and Kate what thier doing wrong (despite all thier cool linux props on the set) I remember seeing the Intel Bigpicture card/capture card as being one of the few supported by Video4Linux... pretty cool also, if anyone can point me to the java version of the Zdtv realplaces chat software, that would be great (I just cant find it)

the only two things (according to the news) that makes kids killall are KMFDM and Doom. But in seriousness, its not the kids fault. If you want that much power, you dont want an Intel process.. grab a Sun Ultra 2, with dual UltraSparc-II 300mhz processors. That alone will kill any combination of pentium processors out there today. Then throw in Creator 3D graphics and you got your self a killer system

I actually like CDE. Not that I would pay for it, but I do use it at home on my Solaris machine... GNOME on my linux boxes. Both are good.. but CDE truly is the "standard" unix desktop, at least on commercial unix. GNOME has a very strong base with alot of potential, and is already has some very good showings. Now please dont flame me on how KDE is better, I dont care
yeah the PC110 was great.. I love the way you could turn it sideways and it became a phone. The only problems with it was it was only a 486/33Mhz processor and lack of enough storage space. Plus the unit and accessories were pretty exspesive.. coming from Japan and all..
