Does this mean no more nowrap="nowrap"? I have lost any faith in a uniform internet I ever had, I would not be shock to learn in 2020 we will still be making concessions to applications so they run on IE6.

Oh no Microsoft is out to get us all... blah blah bla anyone who looks at Microsoft or .NET is evil blah blah blah... these are the people who are the Rush Limbaugh of the software world. Next thing you know we'll be hearing about Linux death squads. Mono is here and it is not going to go away no matter how hard you complain, I can prove my point by showing that Ubuntu while not my personal favorite OS is continueing to use Mono and has no plans to stop. If you don't want to use Mono that's fine no problem, but please don't use Mono quietly there are software developers trying to work.

RPM it sounds like you want to build every little piece of it which may be in the future but if you don't like Suse (-uses RPM) then you probably won't like their studio. I have found it to be an interesting idea, I have been trying it out and I have my fingers crossed that it will be a huge success. Let's be honest here, we all want our own custom distro this is not perfect nor is it for everyone but it is an interesting step.

And that is the point. He seems so eager to criticize everyone else but his OS doesn't even work. Don't get me wrong I respect all that he has done and what he is trying to do for the most part. But going round declaring this and that as evil is hardly news when your own OS doesn't work. I feel he forgets that people who program for money are not evil, they are ordinary programmers who love what hey do. Not Satan.

  17. What the hell is cloud computing anyway? on Open Source Facing a Difficult Battle For Cloud Relevance · · Score: 1

I realize I must be really behind the times or not real bright, I just can't seem to understand what cloud computing really is. I lease a web server and a database from a company I trust they take care of the maintenance and update for it. I'm pretty sure this web server and database is running on a virtual machine, it's accessed through either web services or through http so it's a cloud right? If i need more space I simply pay for a little more and like magic more space appears, I need a different technology (e.g. a php instead of ASP.NET) and once again like magic it appears.

I simply cannot understand what the difference between providing a server and database to someone for a fee, which has been going on for a long time now, and a cloud. I look forward to finally learning what the hell a cloud is because I just don't seem to get it.

A fine example was Benton Harbor, when there was cameras for her to look into she was all about helping poor Benton Harbor but as soon as the cameras were gone so was she.

She needs to GO AWAY and the rest of them as well. The state banked put all their eggs in the auto industry basked and can't figure out where they went wrong.
