How is it a non-sequitur to point out previous expenses failures that they've been the head contractor for? Also, this is far from being their only IT-related disaster either. So again I ask: You've never worked with or for Lockheed have you? They can't properly finish projects in the same scope with costs many times this one.
As opposed to the same thing that happens developing commercial software? Changing requirements, scope creep, etc. is just par for the course in ALL software development.
How dare you bring facts into this. People on SSI are mooches living the highlife off of the backs of the hardworking. Rush Limbaugh said so so that's that.
Yeah and the welfare system was plagued by welfare queens. Oh wait that was just over dramatized fiction from Reagan. No different than your story. There are always people trying to cheat stuff but statistically it's not as large a group of people as right-wingers want us to believe.
It's a great move, but we're not done yet. ID Software released (at one time) the source to older titles. Why can't GOG do/push for that too? Or are they?
And what leverage do you think they hold over the game companies to make such a demand?
(also, I find your knee-jerk cynicism only fitting for an american talking about matters in the Netherlands.)
Says the guy being ass fucked by his government and trying to pretend that they actually care about him. Stockholm syndrome must be nice. If they cared about listening to the regular person they wouldn't be doing what they're doing.
What does any of that have to do with my post? I was simply asking you how many users there were of XQuartz since you were implying it was some large number.

Never worked for or with Lockheed, eh? Or maybe never heard of the F35?

That presumes it was ever there to begin with.
Yeah but first you need $200 million to lobby for the contracts.
Lockheed. Mentioned in the article.

The funniest part of your rants is the unfounded assumption that Lockheed is or ever was competent.
Especially since Lockheed has a history of these expensive blunders.
Rack had been used as an alteration of wrack since 1592 according to Merriam-Webster. You're a few hundred years late to the party.
Good luck funding it.
And why shouldn't they be blamed? These large contracting companies are largely incompetent. They get business by lobbying not competency.

It's a public disgrace not to, that's why.
Wow so you are that naïve. Amazing.

Sure, Bennett.
You do realize we know it's you when you use AC to defend yourself, right?
He made his point. Whine on your own blog.
And if he wants to ramble on about it he can get a blog.
It's not. It's only a dependency to run X as non-root.
And it will run on Wayland using XWayland.

And how many users is that?
An Atom is not ARM. How exactly does that have any relevance to their question?
Huh? NetBSD was a 386BSD fork as well.
ARM is a Tier 2 architecture for FreeBSD so I wouldn't get my hopes up too far, but you might get lucky.
