Puzzles wouldn't work out for a game. I still haven't found the following text in any of the Books:
And Atrus wandered around K'veer, where he had been trapped again by his sons. He wanted to go to the Food Age to have a nice meal, but he sadly forgot the code. If only he could use the Tower Rotation now...
then why is your -rmap patch a diff against the -aa VM? I thought your own old VM should be superior, have you stopped believing in it? And correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't RH porting it to a more recent 2.4 kernel?
Or is the article incorrect?

The BSD projects reject the Single UNIX Specification because many BSD things are just plain better than their SystemV equivalents. There is no point in reducing the quality of your software just to comply with a lame standard.
If there's no copyright law, that doesn't mean that companies will release their source. They can still keep their stuff closed source, because nobody can force them to release their code.
There is no point in using Java assembly, because it isn't more efficient, because using a VM isn't efficient, because the entire concept of a VM isn't efficient, and contradict with the whole idea of assembly. I use asm because it's efficient, not because I think it's 31337 or something.
"I'll run it on my Athlon or not at all" mindset of current Lintel hardware owners
Uhm, forgive me if I'm wrong, but doesn't it seem a bit odd that a Lintel (notice the intel part) guy would go for an AMD Athlon? I propose the term "Lamdux".
Actually I already had the sources of some of Gary's earliest CP/M versions. Allegedly they weren't much of an OS yet, but it was definitely source code (in PL/M, and it didn't look like an OS at all - it looked more like a stupid game from a 13 year-old 31337 h4x0r). But it's definitely nice to see the DR-DOS sources, for comparison with MS-DOS;)
One must notice, however, that it's hardly possible to write, for instance, a fdisk that's worse than the one for MS-DOS, source-wise...
Please don't use VM for virtual machine. It stands for Virtual Memory. Virtual machine is just some stupid, brainless Sun marketing term which should be banned.
What are you talking about? This is just BS, first you should come out with some real numbers instead of spreading some FUD that one mod would have more users than two innovative games.
Man, what are you STUPID! ROFLASC! The man you just called a "15 year old kid who's only experience with real game programming is writing dupe macros for Ultima Online" is one of the greatest gaming programmers that ever lived! You'd better feel really stupid now, AC!
HAHAHAHA! It's just SO funny how you made a fool out of yourself!
The use of this program is a little naive. C++ is not a very efficient language, so all these steps probably take more than one clock cycle per addition. Secondly, there has to be some kind of sinus wave for a clock signal, and the resolution would be too low when a clockcycle takes Planck Time. Thirdly, this theory doesn't take stuff like quantum computing into account.
So the limit you mentioned will be hit sooner if the current trend continues, but it's questionable if it'll really matter.
While I'm glad that he's finally come to his senses, one wonders why he didn't realise this in the first place.
There are some places where liberty of speech doesn't apply, and k1dd13 pr0n is one of them.
Just build your own PC, there's no need to let anyone do it for you.
Luckily, OpenBSD is free even for integration into atomic bombs to be dropped on Australia.
You obviously lack the technical knowledge to build your own server, so you buy a lame-ass and badly designed A-brand.
That is good for you, but please don't troll these boards with your stupidity. It's a shame you got modded up like that.

Because I haven't seen any proof yet...
The ssh problem was solved years ago, by the OpenSSH team...

Java assembly != assembly
VM != Hardware

Great, I never compile my kernels with SysRq (except on non-production machines)...
Yes, it uses a Z80, as do the TI-73, TI-82, TI-85 and TI-86.

Yes, I think Java sux. And I'm right.

I just knew the Hammer was up to it, but now I'm totally convinced. x86 isn't dead yet, and IA-64 will never live!
Cool! I really hope this'll make it into the official kernel, hopefully even 2.4 (though I doubt so not that 2.5 has been started).

>Is emacs better than vi?
Yes.

No.

Yes.
>Is Mandrake better than RedHat?
Irrelevant, since they both suck.
>Is red better than blue?
Inconclusive.

Dude, what's wrong with Software mode? The game is prerendered anyway, so the difference isn't all that important.
fuck you
