i got the new droid x and the stupid blockbuster app is firmly installed and without rooting the phone i cant remove it... i hate stupid useless apps...:(
but heres the thing... We are able to provide you with better service because of these tracking feedback systems... if you default to opt-out then we cant be as efficient and give you a better price... By accessing our site you are saying yes im going to be tracked... but it is an AGGREGATE thing... i dont care about the individual users... i have 17k of them... i could change the JavaScript to steal all their credit cards... i dont why because I could steal some money and then get caught... the thing is lasting time... if i want to continue making money im not going to screw my customers privacy by looking at them individually l want the hive mind info and i can make my distributed income because i understand the feedback the system is giving me... if people stop visiting its because they dont trust me... if i break their trust then they will go away and i have responsibility to them because they let me use that knowledge and its my job to protect it from hackers... dont kill analytics... if you think your that special surf without javascript on (hell turn flash off too its all trash and google only cares about the text right now anyways) but you know what? google has javascript turned off too and i still watch every time they visit and try to understand how i can tweak it so i provide a better user experience and they give me a little more love

i started using this service after it was included in Google SERPS... billboard music also had integration with it... i payed in like 20$ and still had a balance on my wallet. its a very small option in the legal terms but you can request a check for your refund... i really dont care for apple store and thats why i was using lala in the first place... i could feel this happening when they aquired the company a couple months ago apparently they just wrote enough code to kick everyone off
i wrote a post about this a couple days ago http://j.mp/aEJZnO i point to http://ie6nomore.com/ and agree with the first comment. im not going to bend over backwards to try and get ie6 when im also dealing with quirks of ie8,firefox and chrome... write it as best to standards as i can and unless the client wants to pay more let those few little rendering errors slide
Im bias because im one of those that does code in my free time(my blog w/ code) but generally, in my opinion, programmers that code in their free time usually are better and faster than those who don’t. It has to do with the fact that if you’re programming in your free time you probably like programming and solving problems so you probably will, in general, have better grasp of the language and how to use it. So if you’re an employer looking for an employee wouldn’t you want the one that codes in their free time? It’s like free training every time they do extra code for themselves. Hell most of the time they are writing something to make their jobs easier so their work goes quicker / more smoothly so “you don’t code in your free time” they don’t want to hire you. Go find a job where they don’t care and go home and do nothing. Don’t clutter up my Slashdot reading
