Ah, wonderful! SHould be pretty sorted then, hopefully. From what I know IBM's Linux hackers did not have access to AIX source, but they could discuss problems and solutions with their fellow AIX hackers.
but there are 5 areas of the screen which are "infintely large". Th Except on WIndows where there are a 1-2 pixel border between the screen edge and the start button, hence destroying the whole 'infinite large' paradigm. on macs the menus at the top are infinite large, they work all the way out to the last pixel, check this piece (go to section Target Size) They discuss menues on apps but it is valid for the start menu on WIndows as well
could use some of the strong, intelligent insight that is spread around slashdot on this subject. OMG, you completely thrashed the SCOX board! completely! *grin*
Indeed, I'm aware of the GNU history. Whereas you should call Linux the full system GNU/Linux or just Linux might be debatable (If you install GNU on SOlaris, do you call it GNU/Solaris?). True is though that Linux wouldn't have much to it without the GNU stuff (hey might not even been imlemented) it is far easier to call it, well, just Linux. Please don't think I try to dismiss RMS in anyway. I might disagree with him on some topics, but, I do admire and respect him for the tremendous work he's done.
not 286, chip was crippled really, remember dreaming of a 386 with a whopping 2MB of ram though. Stuck to my 8088 (yeah!) and the computers at uni until I could get hold of a monster 486 with 8MB - I was king... Remeber Pentium 60 (or was it 66?) and p90 just had come out then but that was far above my budget...:-)
You can't save everyone. Some people are too set in their ways to be saved. Arguably we could save more lives than we are now, but at what cost to us? There is a limit to how humanitarian you can be.
um, some of these countries you've saved/tried to save didn't want to be saved in the first place. It is this way of USA forcing their world order and their values down the throat of other people that got us into the situation we are now. Yeah, we in europe might not be very willing to use our military, but then again, because of that, we don't have many wackos like Bin Laden chanting 'Burn Europe to the ground!'.
That is, of course, exactly why disclosing evidence before trial is a bad idea. It gives the accused party a chance to concoct ways to conceal wrongdoing.
um, that would be rewriting for the future, not trying to cover up some tracks, It would be impossible to get hold of all copies of the source tree of linux. TAke all sold redhat Linux CDs for example, they contain the code, how would it be possible to get hold of all them? Without anyone noticing as well?
Could be because XBox (at least in the UK) comes with 3 titles when you buy it. Oh well, stand corrected. Regarding actual amount of games sold, I found this article, Not a very bright one regarding GC (funny though, they don't even mention XBox in the article;-), but they do mention the number 46 million sold games (link
you would still have to use the same amount of fuel though, since it's the acceleration/deceleration that needs it. THe trip between the earth and the moon is 'free' so to say, you just glide along. Mind you if you're moving people, youwouldn't need to facilitate all the stuff that's needed in the launch vehicle, all that can be in the 'trains' which can be reused.
you would still have to accelerate the stuff we want to send to the moon to the same speed as the 'trains' that goes inbetween them, otherwise there will be some, eh, unpleasant, sudden acceleration/deceleration when the ships hook into each other.

Why do all people talk crap about X when they mean Xfree? Have you ever tried a commercial X server?
yeah, first BeBoxen was designed around 2 AT & T Hobbit CPUs, AT & T discontinued to produce them so they went for PowerPC CPUs instead
Ah, you're right, missed that... oh well, just proves that I shouldn't sit up late at night surfing /. ;-)
erm, it's a text editor, used for coding, it's *not* a word processor...

Just attach Jordan to the outer hull, that should give it a soft landing ;-)
bah, we're listening to tech-house! or possible deep house
yeah, if the computer was on fire, it returned the temperature of the motherboard, otherwise it returned a random value.
Not to be forgotten was the mighty is_computer_on()
which returned 1 if the computer was on, otherwise the returned value was undefined.
um, sorry, not from the US, what exactly is SLAP??

yeah, the last bombs in Saudi Arabia certanly showed peace is surely on it's way....
nope in swedish it's called bayern as well ;-)
Also Korea seems to be interested as well!
just notified FSF regarding this, you never know... ;-)
As for Linux, the OS, thats a wholly different story
I believe that's what Stallman would like to call GNU/Linux!

Xbox has the highest number of games purchased per console out of the three consoles.
any sources for this?
Capcom's sales of GC games exceeded their expectations, but xbox's sales disapointed: source here
