I have been making this point for years only to be told I was an idiot. Look. Just because you can cram data into XML files, doesn't mean you should! Why use a database when a flat file makes more sense? I don't believe his promoting bad programming habits, I think he is trying to say, don't over complicate the simple things in life. I don't need a freaking API written when I can just query the damn database myself! KISS = Keep It Simple Stupid!!
It's just simply not ready for prime time. Hell it doesn't even have any decent touch screen support! It shows promise, but it still has a long, long way to go. :
