    what Outlook bug?
Last I checked, there were more bugs in Outlook than lines of code in Mozilla Mail

Samba is coded to be a "bug for bug" clone of what Microsoft now calls CIFS
OpenWindows will probably only clone bugs that are necessary for application compatibility.

This is what I find as far as stability goes:
Windows 98 is stable enough to go for hours without a restart
Win2k is stable enough to go for days without a restart
Linux is stable enough to go for months without a restart

One of the big reasons why windows is unstable and linux is very stable is that windows has a number of very bad third party binary only drivers, and linux has few if any.

  9. Re:Opennap on Napster Shut Down Until Trial · · Score: 2

Actually, OpenNap is the name of an open source Napster Protocol *Server*
Many (all?) of these servers run OpenNap, and some of them have opennap in the name like opennap.cx and opennap.squidcafe.com
bitchx.dimension6.com seems to be one of the bigger ones
If you run Helix Gnome like me, you already have gnapster installed, and can choose from a number of OpenNap servers.
Some of these servers are just as large as the official napster servers.
If I'm not mistaken, Napster is not like an IRC network: the servers are not interlinked.
If you are on one you don't see mp3s from those connected to a different server. There are many official napster servers that the client connects to.

What does all this mean you say?
It means that if you have a program that will let you access other servers, you should be able to get as diverse a collection of music as before, as well as the ability to try another server when you don't see what you are looking for.

Actually, my NeXT Station is like this, and it was made 10 years ago
The Monitor cable is for power, display, sound, keyboard, and mouse
The Quartz Display uses display postscript, also a feature of my NeXT system
