We are missing a great many early films from the cultural record because they were simply thrown away. It seems the same thing is happening with MMORPGs. Unfortunately, preserving a social interactive work is much harder than film. History will likely be blind to many major works of this still early age of video gaming.
If you are going to dispute for a small amount of money you are always better off using Small Claims Court. It is a real court and you can expect to get a real fair verdict. Most of the small claims courts even forbid lawyers.
In my state, either party to a small claims suit can request that the case be moved to a regular court. If requested, it shall be moved. So small claims is effectively neutered here. If a big company wants to bury someone in legal fees, all they have to do is ask the judge to let them, and the judge must let them.
On the other side arbitration in USA is known to be so biased that it is literally a farce (in 99.9% of the cases).
They're just lucky it was a theft and the tank didn't burst.

Yes, believe it or not, fingerprints are far more reliable than DNA.
Except that no one has actually done the population level research needed in order to prove that fingerprints are unique, and two different finger print analysts are very likely to come up with different analyses of the same print.
There has not been a known case of two people having the same fingerprint
Which is irrelevant if different fingerprint analysts cannot reliably score the same fingerprints the same way.
If you're the kind of person who is into always online multiplayer games, you're probably going to be playing Diablo 3 anyway. For those of us who like single player, or LAN games, the release of anything WoW related is irrelevant.
RPGs are games with stats that are improved through accumulation of experience points. Diablo & Torchlight have this, Gauntlet does not. This is also why we call games like Fallout or Xenosaga RPGs, while fantasy themed games like Zelda are not.
Of the GPUs available, Intel has by far the best open source driver. They don't even bother supplying a proprietary one. However, intel GPUs suck, and gamers will have either a nVidia card or an AMD card. There are open source drivers for both of these, but they both suck far worse than the Intel driver.
I really hope Valve can talk either AMD or nVidia into doing something about the quality of their open source drivers. But I'm not holding my breath. Chances are they'll just release a Steam box with Intel hardware instaed.
Dumbing down of education, standardized testing, homogenized media, the rise of religion based politics, an ever narrowing political spectrum in which science is nothing but a talking point... It's all of the above.
There is more biology at play here than a simple engineering project.
There's also psychology involved. How do you think you'd deal with a previously unknown sense? Some people find becoming sighted to be a terrifying and confusing experience, which can even end in suicide.
A person who is well adapted to blindness should think very carefully about becoming sighted.
Fallout 3 worked just fine on my old core 2 duo with 2 gigs of RAM and an ati 4250. Not a crash or a slowdown once in 70 some hours. Perhaps the issue really is the PS3.
Because that's what all the kids are doing, and the entire purpose of the app is to get kids interested in what their country is actually doing. If you want to get peoples attention, go to where their attention already is. The fact that anyone who wants this information can get it easily doesn't help distribute this information to those who don't know that they are interested yet.
There's nothing disrespectful about the term "fan" except in your own fevered imagination. If I were to hire someone who gets upset over the word "fan", I'm just setting myself up for drama(or worse) when someone makes some other harmless, off the cuff remark and the new hire feels slighted.
Actually, eliminating candidates that are so full of themselves that they object to being called a "fan" would be a great way to conduct the interview.

Since this won't run on Touchpads, are there any tablets out there that will support it? I didn't see a hardware list on OpenEmbedded.

Justice in the USA is literally a farce.
When speed matters, both Intel GPUs and Toyotas suck.
Item based power ups are not experience points.

Not that it's any better in the US. They used the same damn excuses to break up OWS.

They get extra credit for being the next Diablo like game from the actual Diablo creators.
AMD released open source drivers, but they suck. If you want performance, you have to use the Catalyst drivers.

That doesn't stop their Public Order Act of 1986 from banning insults.

How many lives will be lost due to distrust of western medical science if they push forward prematurely and find serious side effects?
Increasing the health and productivity of the African workforce is going to cause suffering how exactly?
SOMEONE will find the very idea of a politically motivated app to be objectionable.
I find the very idea of censorship objectionable.
Why does everything have to be an app these days?

Suppose I want a phone with rounded corners, but will not allow third parties to control my hardware. What choices do I have?
This is exactly what I'm talking about. Anyone who considers being referred to as a "fan" as mockery is too fragile to work with.
Actually, eliminating candidates that are so full of themselves that they object to being called a "fan" would be a great way to conduct the interview.
