Twitter user posts illegally obtained photos someone else, Google search results have Twitter in them, Google must remove Twitter from it's search results? That doesn't seem wildly excessive.
The RIAA now has resorted to other means of enforcing their copyrights than normal lawsuits, they have opted instead to inject illegal photos into popular music torrents. More news at 11.
I would hate to be a member of a company who is supposed to focused on security and got hacked by script kiddies. I would say it isn't good for business but the majority of their customers wouldn't know or care.
As much as I like the FCC, what in the world would they need to do this for? This seems like a terrible way of stopping the "enemy" from communicating by stopping Citizens from communicating. The FCC has had my back in the past with our thought process on how communications should be handled, I'm glad they are asking for public input on this.
'With vehicles taking up to three years to develop, [security strategist Brian Contos] says manufacturers will struggle to keep abreast of rapidly-evolving threats unless they organize regular software updates."
What? What does he mean? Why should it be any problem while it is still being developed? Unless It's a hardware hack I don't see how it should have any trouble receiving updates while it is still being made, more so after it has been released and updates are done via the internet which is much more scary.
Sure, I'll take them up on the offer. If they want to give me a free high quality camera I could remove from the device and use for a webcam I see 100% win-win for me, all they are going to be receiving is "No Signal".
Just think of the additional batteries you could fit in an area the size of a prosthetic limb. You could probably get upwards of a month of normal smartphone use without recharging.
By the time he got to his car in the morning he would be exhausted by the weight he just had to lug around.
I actually had to use linux recently for some time and I found the linux version to be very refreshing. I agree that FF mobile is slow to load. The only reason that I keep it around is that some sites don't display correctly on other browsers. I also like to be able to spoof the user agent so that I can see the full site.
You can type about:debug in the standard android browser to enable more setting when you go to Menu > Settings, including a user agent changer.
I love Noscript, I don't like the developer. Because of this I've dropped Noscript from my extensions long ago. It seems everyone soon forgets about a developer who thinks he can mess with your other extensions without your permission.

One of my coworkers brought in her daughter's Nook Color to root, the process couldn't of been more simple. The whole rooting process is pretty much imaging a SD card with the ISO they give you and rebooting the Nook. It's really that easy, but I imagine the imaging a SD card will leave people dumbfounded.

Even drug lords cannot afford the new insane iPad prices.
I've been saying for a long time now if companies would just implement lockout policies we wouldn't have any of these issues.
Pretty sure it would be easy to dissuade a potential buyer, their only review from a satisfied customer was his last video entry to the world.

Looked like one giant title to me, did they even say his name?
In the back of my mind I still thought I was reading The Onion for this summary.
