Funny, one of those mug shots is from the TV show Burn Notice, not a real mug shot. Also, what is up with that one guy (on there twice) with a caved in head? How is he even standing for the mugshot?

In the particular incident being discussed, are we sure there weren't other triggers for the surveillance than that the people were Muslim? Has it even actually been discussed completely in court yet? There are billions of Muslims, if they were all being targeted for surveillance, it would be impossible to sift through the information, likely these people did something that got them on the police radar, it isn't like they just surveil all Muslims in New York.

When you worked at this large financial services firm, was the data center currently under construction? The Tesla factory is being built, they might not have all the security gear installed yet.

A hot Jupiter could occlude enough light to drop the star's output by 1%. The dips in this star are in the range of 15-20%, and they are non periodic.
Also, the IR from the star is the amount expected for the type of star, so it likely isn't a dust cloud as that would glow in IR as well.
