Perhaps you should read up on how NFC payment works. The card number never traverses the RF, only a random token which is a one off for every transaction.

Saddam was refusing entry to the weapons inspectors, which is what kicked off the war. What else should have been brought from this action? Perhaps the better solution would have been sanctions, but without knowing it was all lies and bluster, how could we be sure that this would work?
How does an app that tracks a woman's period and lets you know when certain parts of it infringing on freedom? This isn't an app tracking your every move, it tracks time. The woman who wrote the linked article is talking about how creepy and misogynistic it is to allow a man to be able to count days and put an alert on a calendar. Not understanding that this app has valid uses, and frankly doesn't do anything someone can't do with a calendar already. This app isn't tracking your position on the globe, it is a totally different kind of tracking which is impossible to prevent as anyone could do it.

Many Many people thought there were, and at the time, Saddam was claiming he had them. It turned out that Saddam was all bluster, but how could we have known? He confirmed the original intel we had, which at the time no one knew was faked.

How would we know? The first gulf war we were prevented from entering Iraq. There were many indications of WMD, as I detailed a little above.
The second war started on massive deception and lies, like "mobile WMD plants" and "SCUDS" capable of delivering the massive stockpiles of nerve agent being made in those mobile plants with no possible defense. The biggest lie was about Yellow Cake and Dirty bombs, completely fabricated by Italian intelligence and passed off as true to the US Public.
Yes, Saddam was lying, I need proof that ANYONE in the Bush administration knew that. Everything I have read indicated that the US intelligence apparatus thought that it was possible, and had received what later turned out to be unreliable intelligence that he had this stuff. I am taking offense at making it out to be that Bush started a war because he felt like it. I never saw anything at the time or later to indicate that he did, only that we got bad intel, and with the way Saddam was acting, that intel looked damn good at the time.
Of course, if we tax the hell out of corporations like the Democrats want, that will just open up all the jobs that the corporations are holding back, right?
A self-driving car will have to respond in millisecond time to unexpected threats (tire blowout, deer darting into the roadway, etc.) and instantly coordinate that response with dozens of vehicles in immediate proximity.
Again...how is this any different than a human driver? Why does the computer have to outperform humans so significantly in your mind?
Per capita is about the dumbest measure for this stuff. It is pollution, it is pollution the US doesn't have at all, what don't you get there?

If the smoke/particulate clouds coming from Chinese cities are so bad that they are causing LA (of all places) to be effected, than they are bad, but you can just point to per capita if that makes you feel better.

So then, maybe the US should be paid back for all the contribution of research towards nuclear power, solar panels, etc? We can't help it that even after designing all these awesome things and pretty much giving it away, China still builds the dirtiest coal plants possible.
Please name the last time these issues happened in the US. You might find LA at their worst to be near China's moderate levels, but nowhere near on average.
