I have FiOS in central Maryland. 75/75, tested out to 83/86 last night. I was however getting robotic sound out of my Teamspeak 3 server running on EC3. No one else was having the issue, and this issue is caused by throttling of the connection. It would not surprise me to hear that VZ is intentionally degrading the connections to try and say it is NN's fault and that we should get rid of NN.
AC appears to understand exactly how NAT works. The reason for servers that sit in the cloud to handle smart plugs and the like is because those devices can't be connected directly to because of NAT and port limitations. If there is no NAT, there is no need for the server in the cloud as your phone or whatever could connect to the IoT item directly instead of utilizing the company's server in the middle. IPv6 would be great for the IoT, though I don't think it will truely get rid of NAT as NAT is more secure by default for users who don't understand networking enough to setup firewall rules.
I however would love to be able to have more than one system behind my firewall be listening on the same port. I have run into this need with Steam dedicated servers, you can't have multiple systems running dedicated servers as they won't be listed in the server lists, only one of them can talk back to the central Steam server list.
As the ACs above me pointed out, it was a law he pushed for. I always assumed it was an executive order, but was never pointed to the actual law or executive order.
It is rather sad though that a nuclear engineer who understands how the process works would fall into the trap of proliferation fears instead of pushing for a more responsible use of our nuclear fuel. Aren't we all about recycling nowadays?
So, drying, baking, grinding, then running water through them is processing now and makes them artificial? Generally, when people are discussing processing in relation to food, they are speaking of the use of chemicals. Chemicals are only used on coffee in decaffeinated coffee which is an unholy abomination anyways. So anyways, yes, coffee does grow on trees, but nothing is added to it to make it even fit in with the conversation we are having which is artificial ingredients.
Also, in the case of fruit, it is often dyed, oranges are died orange (as they are generally somewhat greenish), apples are dyed red or green. I am sure other fruits are processed in different ways, so even that is a poor example. But coffee is as close to a natural ingredient as is possible.
How would teaching children to code increase inequality? Are you saying that the poor kids are not capable of learning to code? Last I checked, you can teach poor kids as well as rich kids to code, it isn't an inherent quality of socioeconomic status as to whether you can be taught to code.
So, if you want to implement that, call a constitutional convention and get the Second Amendment modified or removed. Until that happens, gun restriction laws are unconstitutional.
I much prefer katanas. I would not recommend firearms on an airplane, because even if you don't hit the plane with the bullet, the pressure wave could cause decompression. However, if people had pocket knives even, the terrorists' box cutters would have made people laugh at them.
Everyone know laughter is the most powerful weapon.
The wide majority of gun crime in the US is committed with guns that the person using them has no right to posses.
Roof used a gun to shoot 9 black people in SC recently. He was under felony charges for drug crimes and was not legally able to own a gun. How will more gun control laws stop him from getting a gun?
That something that has changed is the 24 hour news cycle. These issues happened all through history, they are just getting major nationwide attention now because there is an effort underway to take away all guns.
Roof was not legally allowed to own a gun, so no amount of gun control would have kept that gun away from him. I have not seen any news yet on where the gun came from, there is something about his father possibly buying it for him, but that has been denied.
It is unfortunate that there is so much gun violence, but when the wide majority of gun violence is done with illegal guns, gun control will not fix the problem.
How many of the 1000 murders so far this year in Baltimore have made nationwide news? But 8 people are killed in Charleston and every news station is all over it. Do you understand why watching news is skewing your view of society?
If an airline allowed people to get on without inspection, than it is just as likely that there would be good people with weapons stopping the idiot trying to take over the plane.
Do you really think that the 9/11 hijackers would have been successful with their box cutters had the other passengers also been armed?
The same could be said about the Democrats. They stubbornly persist in trying to restrict guns even after the supreme court told them they are going to far. They also seem to stubbornly refuse to see all the evidence of the destruction their restrictions cause.
Funny, but all the guns laws possible didn't stop some idiot shooting up a cafe in Sydney. What makes you think restricting people's gun rights will suddenly make things better? It also happens to be that the places with the worst rates of crime in the US also have strict gun laws that are completely in effective. Baltimore has very heavy restrictions on "assault weapons" and handguns, yet there have been somewhere around 1000 murders in Baltimore since the beginning of the year.

If you don't want to roll your own DNS server, the next best option is to use 8.8.8.8
It is run by Google, so it is always up and reasonably fast.
When did Google become Comcast? Google doesn't support DHCPv6, what does that have to do with Comcast supporting or not DHCPv6?
FiOS still doesn't support IPv6 though, which makes me sad.

I want to buy a RTG powered electric car...now!
So, really, it seems that there are some problems that are preventing the processing.
Yeah, Carter outlawed it, so since no one repealed that law, it is illegal to reprocess spent fuel.

Chlorine and Sodium are pretty much toxic separately, but I don't think anyone completely avoids NaCL on their food.
Cereal doesn't grow on trees, it's all processed. Same goes for bread, coffee and almost everything you eat except for perhaps fruit.

Coffee doesn't grow on trees? WTF!? Since when?

I am amazed no one has made this point about the drone shuttle the Air Force is using recently.

I would also point out that even strict gun control doesn't stop gun crimes:

My number above is wrong, it is over 100, not 1000.
http://data.baltimoresun.com/b...
I am posting to correct myself, the figure is more like 100 shootings.
http://data.baltimoresun.com/b...
It was also apparently 9 people in SC, I got the number wrong there too.
How many of the 1000 murders so far this year in Baltimore have made nationwide news? But 8 people are killed in Charleston and every news station is all over it. Do you understand why watching news is skewing your view of society?
If gun control will fix all the gun crime, please explain this to me:

It's also why our poorest state is wealthier than the UK on a per capita basis.
Not that I am calling you a liar, but I would love to see some statistics that show that, it sure doesn't sound correct.
