Perhaps we should all file frivolous DCMA notices against political web sites that support SOPA. Maybe if their IT person feels some of the pain, they might bring it up the chain and maybe the politician will hear about it.
It would make 411.com(US DNS) not have the entry anymore, but you could still go to another site that may be able to bypass the block(foreign DNS), and you could have it hard coded on your phone's address book still(hosts).
What I have never understood about the whole mouse issue is, why do they care if it falls out of copyright? The mouse is trademarked, I can't make my own mouse that looks like him, and it isn't like they are making any perpetual income off of Steamboat Willie.
That was part of the issue. If the banks were allowed to refuse the bad loans, most of the derivatives would not have crashed. It was a two part issue, but even without the derivatives, all those loans would have defaulted.
In the US, we use these things called robots, and this other thing called shift work. It works quite well for many industries, and would work quite well for iGadgets too. You ever seen the show "How its Made"? I don't think I have seen anything on there which wasn't made in a factory using robots.
Further car analogy: Ford makes no money on resell, so they decide to sell a license to be able to fuel the tank, it is included on the first sale, but a resale has to pay for a new license, it has diminished the resale value of the car by the amount of that license.
I know whenever I use the gold tanks, I am called a wallet warrior. If that isn't hatred for the people who pay, and and admission of how much better the pay tanks are, I don't know what is.
It is hard to argue with someone who fails at reading comprehension though.
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
It appears quite clear that it is a right of the people. Also, if you use the definition of a militia from the time of the constitution, it is very difficult to argue it didn't mean everyone. I am not particularly sure how that could be made any clearer.
More snow often means a warmer winter. When the temperature is more than a few degrees F below freezing, there is not enough moister in the air for snow, snow in many places only happens at the beginning and end of the season, however, if it snows throughout the winter in these areas, it is an indication of a warmer winter, not colder.
I'll try to respond to the bonkers claim as a Maryland resident. This year, we have had two snowfalls, the first didn't stick, the second was about an inch of snow with a half inch of ice on top. This isn't terribly unusual, however having snow, then two days later it being 60+ F, that is very odd in January. Generally, late December we see a bit of snow, January is too cold for snow, late February sees the snows return, and early or late March we have the worst storms of the winter. This year, the temperature has been fluctuating wildly, which in the 29 years I have lived in Maryland, I have never seen. Now, last year however, we had some record breaking storms, three feet of snow over a weekend, stuff like that (or was that two years ago? hard to keep track).
The Jetta was back in 2004, there were 6 and 4 models, with the 6 having higher reliability ratings according to consumer reports. I am not sure what you mean by there being no coupe, all of them look like coupes, maybe you meant no wagon? As far as manual Camry, it only exists in the SE model, which is 1 from the top level.
Don't worry, the problem will correct itself eventually. The democrats are historically supported by the poorer people, the poorer people are the ones getting the most abortions, so therefore, the next generation will have less of them.:)
I walked into a Volkswagen dealership after doing research, I asked the salesperson for a: Jetta coupe 6 cyl manual tranny (if possible)
the salesperson pulls around: Jetta Wagon 4 cyl automatic
That's when I went to the Toyota dealership, paid 5k less for a Camry and the salesperson actually listened to the words I spoke, instead of utterly ignoring me.
My next vehicle, I am looking at a light truck (Ranger, Tacoma, etc.) talked to a Ford dealer, and they no longer sell the Ranger, rather than suggesting I go to another manufacturer, they direct me to the F-150, which is most definitely not a comparable truck, guess which one I'm buying...
So then why is it illegal for me to kill my children? They are growing inside of my house, they are parasites on my money and time. When do you draw the line between a legal choice and murder?
I consider myself pro-life, but I would never suggest an abortion be denied in both your scenarios (rape, and inflicting death on the mother). I have a problem with people who have sex willingly, then consider abortion the solution to an unwanted pregnancy. At the point where a child is conceived, the woman has already made a choice and I don't believe there should be an ability to take that choice back at the expense of killing an unborn child.
If the person truly doesn't want the child, there are many people who are willing to adopt.

I do remember when I played that the Lowe was pretty good. It wasn't near as good as tanks of the same tier, but it was way better than lower tiers.
Except federal employees no longer have the benefit you describe. They haven't had pensions or healthcare paid by the government for 30 years.

Your English broke...

Try Eve Online, it costs monthly, but there is no DRM.

The episode name is Darmok. Just watched it yesterday.

I love to Photoshop in Gimp :P
10,000 years wouldn't be an issue if we reprocessed the ore and just dumped the useless parts into Yucca mountain.
FYI:

Two movies about bugs running around too. That one kinda made me laugh (Bug's Life/Ants)
Copyright is BS. Just as Microsoft or Google do not deserve to have a monopoly over OSes and search engines
Are you sure you don't mean patents there? Copyright is what prevents you from making copies of Windows 7 disks and selling them to all your friends.
