According to the Wikipedia page, African ebony is endangered, Indian ebony is not. This isn't about endangered species, but about an Indian law stating that the items must be entirely finished in India.
I imagine it would, it is just not the way it appears to be designed. It wasn't a big deal, the drive was running at the time but still sustained no damage. The funnier part was that my computer rebooted for no reason (it is set to remain off after power outage)
You: My anecdotal evidence is that the carriers are screwing with us their customers Politician: They would never do that!
Scientist: This study shows how the carriers are screwing with their customers Politician: I can't ignore scientific evidence
(at least it should work that way...please no replublitard posts...)
It is much harder to ignore gathered evidence than what you or I see happening. Maybe now we can get the FCC to go after some of these carriers a little easier. The more evidence we gather, the more we can prove that the carriers are screwing with us, and the less it can be ignored by the FCC.
I am wondering if anyone has bought the HP Envy laptops yet and what their impression of the build quality is. By all appearances it was HP's attempt to capture the audience of people who like the Apple hardware, but hate Mac OS. If they are well constructed, I may consider buying one as my next laptop.
The concrete with steel roof I work in held up pretty good to the earthquake. I had a portable hard drive fall over at home, but I hardly count that as damage...more poor design.
360 degrees in a circle
180 degrees in a F
Best I can come up with...
The LoJack software hides in hardware. It isn't installed on the hard drive.
You could say that...some women like to eat a liquid lunch after all.
He owns some nice plastic Frisbees...that's something at least...
Naa, she prefers a good foot long...I would know.
I don't know about that...

Um, I'll just leave this here.

I would drop that bank...sounds like a bad bank if they can't even keep the digital balance up to date. My credit union is awesome.

Do you mean after he got out from the 1989 supervised release? Having not read much about him, I wasn't aware of that part.
and then immediately started doing it again when he got out.
Citation needed? The book says that the parole officer thought his disconnected phone was caused by Mitnick, not that he did it.
The reason to do a study like this is as follows:
You: My anecdotal evidence is that the carriers are screwing with us their customers
Politician: They would never do that!
Scientist: This study shows how the carriers are screwing with their customers
Politician: I can't ignore scientific evidence

Perhaps that is because maybe it wasn't the US at all?
Out of curiosity (as I wasn't born yet) did the US man up to Iran Contra? Or the attempts to overthrow South American nations?

It looks like Reagan actually came out and admitted at least part of it, and there is some question as to whether he knew more than he admitted.
How can you say such things, China would never do something so outright illegal as to attack companies in the US. /sarcasm
you're an ignorant hypocrite.
Is that why I post at +2 and you post at -1? To me that sure looks like I'm not the ignorant one in this discussion.
It is supposed to sit on that edge, there aren't bumpers on the sides.
MK = stagnated.

That is because Apple doesn't realize that businesses use computers yet.

I used to say Maryland...but it looks like we are right on the path. The earthquake was interesting, but didn't do anything out here...
Odd that a UK centric site would be a .com. They should use the .co.uk domain as that would be the appropriate place for a UK site.
