    I'm sorry, but I have to bite on this troll. Red Cross helps first world just as much as third world. They were the first ones on the scene after Katrina, and the fact that they are already in Japan, and Japan is first world, would kind of show the lie for what it is.

    It may be that the Red Cross has enough working funds and supplies built up that they don't need the money right away, they will just use the money to replenish the stocks for the next disaster.

    Look up the mars rovers, with their flash memory filling up, that in itself was amazing that they were able to recover from, given the crippling effect the programming oversight had on the system.

    Can you imagine typing the command to fix that? I see it much like a ssh connection through a satellite, you type, and 20 minutes later you see the command pop up on the terminal.

    Except it isn't subsidized either as only T-Mobile will lower the price if you bring your own phone, or don't replace your phone every two years. Yes I tested this with Verizon, I let my contract expire, and the price didn't drop.

    Just because the Model T didn't include airbags, antilock brakes, crumple zones, etc, doesn't mean that modern cars are just as likely to kill you in a massive accident.
