I don't think this device deserves to be compared to the "iPad and imitations thereof" - A) it's not a tablet; B) it's far less powerful; C) it doesn't even have any built-in network capability, which is what the iPad and its following are intended for; and D) it's horribly ugly.
That being said, it looks like an excellent little device to hack on, and a big bonus is that it has USB ports! I may actually pick one up one of these days.
*gnashes teeth* - the author of the article called it Ganash instead of Gnash. Ganash is a delicious chocolate glaze, but Gnash is just a bland flash replacement.:(
Homeschooling was originally banned in Germany by Adolf Hitler in the 1930s, when he wanted to make sure that all German children were indoctrinated in the ways of the Nazi party. The Hitler Youth was the result. Government schooling isn't necessarily a bad thing, but if a government is promoting/enforcing a radical worldview, most if not all of the kids in the school system will pick it up. Like evolution.
Not that it really counts as fact, but Sherlock Holmes would always turn to cocaine when he needed a boost during particularly grueling cases.

... when the button accidentally gets pressed in his pocket?
can it run Crysis???
The shear amount of crap it installs in unbeliveable:
If you could just shear some of that crap off, unbelivable would be ever-so-much less bloated!
