I simply sit in my recliner. I use a laptop sitting on a Logitech laptop table, (cooling fans and awesome audio). My back and neck are supported a lot better than sitting at a desk. And an added plus is: My dachshund can sit next to me while I work/surf/play. I put in 10 to 14 hrs a day this way, with frequent breaks. (walking around doing household chores, walking the pup etc.) I used to suffer terribly when sitting this long at a regular desk!
Samuel R. Delany's "Dhalgren" was the most depressing Science Fiction Novel I have ever read. Very dark and a bit confusing. But despite this, I really enjoyed it. I first read it in 1974, and I just purchased a new copy. Maybe the second time around I will get even more out of it.
I agree! Anyone that depends on the "Cloud" is begging for trouble. Put everything in a safety deposit box. (hard copies, and digital). Give any access codes to your TRUSTED Lawyer, or family member. And or Geo-cashe copies of passwords and box keys with the coordinates in a place that is under your control at all times, and where a designated person knows where they are in the event of your death or permanent brain malfunction.
I too like Opera. And I hate Facebook for the privacy issues that will never go away. If Facebook buys Opera, and links it to Facebook and reports all my browsing habits, sadly I will have to use another browser. Facebook is becoming the Internet's "Mark-of-the-Beast" a ubiquitous presence that I can do without.
With the availability of cheap storage, why on earth would I pay some money to a company I do not know, and may go belly-up and lose the data I have intrusted to them? No Thanks.
Sure, they will go into bankruptcy, and come out of it under a new corporate name. Then start right back up without ANY union contracts to deal with.

If I didn't have anyone I could trust with this info, then it really wouldn't matter to me what happened to all that stuff after my death.

And you know this how? Even if what you say turns out to be true, this young man has made a lasting name for himself in mathematics.

My girlfriend said something along this line to me just the other day.
I enjoyed the show over the years, and I too thought the epitaph was over-the-top funny :-) ! Good Nite Jack!
Someone needs a hug !
