Congress should pass a law that half of all future taxpayer funded PC purchases will come with a non Microsoft OS.
My god, that's the most ridiculous suggestion I've ever heard. If I were a Congressman I'd vote for a flag-burning amendment before I voted for a law that mandated something so inane as what you've suggested..
While I agree it's sort of a silly suggestion, the idea is that at least half of these PCs do not include a MSOS, not that exactly half of them do.

Little Bear! A watched head never gets eaten by ants!
(as if a "Rogue" state would use a missile instead of smuggling a warhead into the country on a ship)
I have to wonder if the.mil folks know something here that we don't. The above argument convinces me that rogue missile attacks are unlikely, but they are still going for it gung-ho, despite the prohibitive cost and potentially destabilizing effects it may have. Any ideas what is behind this push? Maybe that this would be a stepping stone to a more comprehensive system, useful against a Russia or China?
Sorry for the off-topic, but this question has been bugging me for a while and I'm curious if y'all have any thoughts.

What about if you make the user click on an agreement that states they do not intend to use napster for any copywritten material and they agree to be responsible for anything they share.
IIRC, the policy you agree to when you install Napster includes something like this. Didn't help them much...

(All three of the above have happened to my girlfriend)
You're dating a girl in middle school? Eww!

Ted Rall had a comic with a similar topic a few weeks back.
Congrats on your spelling. :-)

Better yet, make it an -ads option. Makes the commerciality even more superficial, undercuts the motive for removing ads and redistributing.
