One of the main focal points of Society of Mind, by Marvin Minsky was that the human mind was composed of thousands of functions like sleep, anger, hunger, etc. Reading that the robots are built out of moduals, does that mean they might be intelligent in some way ?
In the article, the author talked about search engines dying from lack of use, but I don't think they will. There are always going to people on the internet who don't know much about the internet, and they turn to search engines to find what they need. They might loose the more experienced clientel, but they will always retain the novice clientel
Cool now I will have two reasons to watch the super bowl, the commercials, and the instant replay. This might be tough because I often would go get food, or goto the bathroom during the game in fear of missing a funny commercial.

We still have a very long time to wait until those who grew up with the internet to come into power. Its slowly happening with the senator from seatle who made her money in the internet. Until it becomes possible for more than one or two companies to make money from the internet, there will be very few people who pay attention to the needs of the every day user.
Just curious as to how others deal with a similar problem.....Telemarketers.
1)When a person is asked for, take a deep breath, release a sigh, and comment about how that person just died last week
2)Speak in hard to hear accents, or skip important words in the conversation
COuld this lack of cash have anything to do with the fed's increasing of the interest rates. It might actually have the desired effect of stopping of slowing down the part of the economy that seems to have no end of growing in sight. Just a thought.
