  1. DNS entries are property, dumb us goverment. on Slashback: Profanity, Synching, Flicks · · Score: 1

Why don't they understand that? They're property, they can have whatever they want in it, because of freedom of speech, and what if your company name, has profanity in it? It could happen, and would you have to censor your own domain name for it? I always hate the goverment for those things, because they don't have any good judges who are, nerds. They don't know what they're really talking about, and odds are, none of them own a dns entry.

  2. Odd search results. on Search Engines-Does Obscurity Prevent Exploitation? · · Score: 1

I once did a search, and it contained an acrynom that doesn't really occur anywhere else, I was just looking for the url, and I did a search with it on altavista, and it was on about the third or forth page! They don't have any good search engines really.

  3. It's just idiotic. on URLs Aren't Property? · · Score: 1

I would say that an IP address is like a service, because it is given, but a dns entry is owned, bought, and sold. A phone number is like an IP address, it's normally just given, and not taken once you have it, normally. A DNS entry is not always just given, you have to get one.

  4. Always use a local isp. on @Home Stops Allowing VPNs · · Score: 1

Try iCab for the mac, its only a prerelease 2.0 last I heard, and it won't be ported, and its not open source, but its faster, and better than netscape and ie combined, and it doesn't have full javascript and no css yet, go figure. It also has a preference for rendering, to see if the code is proper or not, and there are a lot of sites that don't use good html. It also has some good validators for html. Soon it may support all the new stuff for the web, hopfully.

All I know is that transformers is one of the best shows for "kids" like me that I like. I absolutly hate things like south park, and all anime, well, there may be some(they have anime porn I think) but still it would suck. I think 3d if used right, can be a lot better than 2d, and 2d can be better than 3d. It all depends on what its for.
