    Saw about 20 last night, more than double the usual count of an average night in the Mojave desert. No colors, some very long trails.

    Radar jammers, they exist, they are effective and illegal. Also since a team could conceivably be charged with conspiracy. In most cases conspiracy to commit a crime is a felony even if the crime is a misdemeanor.

    But they may have something, Boondock Saints was not a hit in theaters, falls in "cult classic" bin. Did make millions on rentals/dvd sales so the studio green lighted the crappy sequel.

    Both California State University systems (University of and Cal State) have Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II (or advanced Algebra) in the high school subjects required for admission section. Not going to be real successful in those environments without taking Algebra II.

    My two cent's, offer more logic, rhetoric and critical thinking in the schools. (and perhaps on the School Board)

    Old school BOFH's used the IBM command TRMUSER option (*IMMED) or (*DELAY). Immediate = Increase Keyboard Voltage, Delayed = Increase Screen Radiation.

One year covered the Garage door in newspaper and spray painted a 20 x 8 VD card, another year used sidewalk chalk to draw a VD card in parking space at work yet another dedicated Temptations song 'My Girl' to her over radio (hard part making sure she was listening to radio at right time).

    Not only do we still use tape for backup at my place of employ, we are still using a reel to reel(9348-001)for some (non-backup) applications.

    How broad are the laws forcing use of hands free technology while driving? Are CB or Ham radio operators similarly restricted?
    Are drivers less likly to be distracted by converations on those mediums rather than cell phones?
    What about other radio networks, many companys with fleets of vehicles have radios installed.
    IANAL but ... unless all other similar technologies are covered under cell phone statutes a good lawer (oxymoron?) should get a cell phone ticket dismissed.
