Beautiful. I've often thought about obtaining a FNORD license plate, so that the police couldn't read the plate number. Of course, the DMV wouldn't be able to read my request in the first place, so I had to give up the dream.
I've seen these in Brookstone, and I think Sharper Image as well. While I haven't purchased them to try with a computer, in the store they do a great job of cutting out the constant hum noises of the HVAC system and fluorescent lights. They should work great on a constant noise such as a computer fan.
Or, as has been said many times elsewhere, buy a Mac.
Is there any (Windows) software that *doesn't* track your operations? Someone in this discussion recommended GetRight, but this is one of the Aureate/Radiate pieces of software, which similarly reports all FTP transfers back to the source.
I had been using Go!Zilla, until I read that the Aureate software was tracking me. All I want is to resume my broken downloads, and perhaps queue them.
I thought that the deneuralization was probably layered; when he did the de-N in the basement, it only removed J's neuralization.

Actually, this article Going Backwards 'Just Say No to H20' (Unless It's Coke's Own Brew) would contest otherwise. There is (or, at least, was) a concerted effort by the soda companies to block water drinking in restaraunts.
