Erh... I don't know about the US, but phones in Europe MUST allow calling emergency services even when locked. In other words, if you find a phone, dialing the local equivalent of 911 must be possible, provided that thing has battery. No matter whether it's locked, or in what way it is locked.
And, again, "eventually" is never on the internet. It's trivial for someone to dig up some drunk video of you that you thought was funny back when you were 16.
The internet doesn't just know what you did last Summer, the internet knows what you did in the Summer of 69. And it never ever forgets.
That's still legal grounding, not technical. I can still take off with that plane if I so please, provided I'm willing to risk my license and very likely freedom.
Why, please tell me, would I want to buy something where the maker and not me gets to decide what lifespan the product gets to have? We're back at the garage openers that are under 100% control of the company making them, why the hell would I willingly hand over control over my product to the maker? At the very least I'd want the option to wipe their software and install my own.
C'mon, this is Disney we're talking here. For 5 bucks a month the best you can hope for is getting to see the old cartoons that are being rotated through the Disney channel.
A government agency? Please don't be silly, who cares about the government?
You don't need the government to fuck up your life. All you need today is someone writing your employer that you're (insert label here) and an employer who would rather fire you than deal with even the possibility of some loudmouth creating bad PR.
The alternative is pretty much saying that you don't give a shit about whether you can voice your opinion. I'm honestly surprised that Nazis would stand on that side of a fence, but just because those assholes have hijacked a topic means now that I cannot actually have that opinion myself? By that logic, all it takes for any kind of topic that I do not want you to be for/against, I only have to make sure that some asshole group is for/against a topic and by actually considering the topic important I may lump you into a group with the assholes.
I think last time this was attempted was when they tried to discredit MLK.
When there is only two sides to choose from, and I don't want to choose the side that wants to silence those that disagree, you will end up with very, very odd bedfellows...
Unlikely. Far more likely we'll not get to hear who airs someone else's dirty laundry and what laundry becomes the dirty one depends again on groupthink and popularity.
Sorry, but I can't get behind putting more of what will be useless ballast to a sizable portion of the students into the curriculum. There is already plenty thereof. Well over half of what I had to learn in school was learned for the test, written at the test and immediately forgotten because there was an absolute ZERO chance of me ever needing that bullshit again. Be it geography, physics, foreign languages aside of English or music, it was a waste of time and energy that could have been invested way more sensibly.
If you think that pupils that have no interest in ever programming will treat this subject with any more interest than what's required to get a passing grade, which essentially means "soak up - pour out - forget", you're deluded.
Very hard to pull off, Poe's law is in full effect.
Strange how it went from being a far right problem to being a far left problem. But I guess it's just an extremist problem altogether. There is no insane statement, claim or demand that would not be made by them, so making it in jest will be taken serious.
And that's exactly what is not happening. The label "Nazi" is being issued by people trying to silence their opponents by slapping that label onto them.
Yes, but use them intelligently. Just dropping them somewhere isn't going to accomplish anything.
With the next generation you can just crumple it like the tinfoil it will be.

No. It has no macro lens.
Then I sincerely hope you're playing bullshit bingo to survive.
To record what the others say. Duh.
That's a typo. It should read "works in 500 million seconds".
So you just didn't wait long enough. You're using it wrong.
What for? The next model is out before the battery goes bad and you're supposed to throw this one away by then.
From what he says I'd say either Syria or the USA.
Sorry, it doesn't. To unlock it, I need my key, sadly you broke it during the arrest. Good job, now how do I unlock my phone, care to tell me?

But I fuckin' CAN!

You absolutely HAD TO ask, didn't you?
A government agency? Please don't be silly, who cares about the government?

Yup. Too bad this is not what we're talking about now.
What happens now is that everyone who dares to be critical of full blown left wing rhetoric gets slapped with the NAZI! label.
50 years ago, anyone not doing the "USA fuck yeah!" dance was labeled COMMIE! The actors change, the strategy stays the same.
Unlikely. Far more likely we'll not get to hear who airs someone else's dirty laundry and what laundry becomes the dirty one depends again on groupthink and popularity.
Do you really want to live in a world like that?

The first time I probably won't. Only after the "don't you know who this is?" questions start.
That we could agree on.
