  1. Unfortunately as a consultant I can only recommend this to my customers, I do not have the ability to force them...

  2. 100% compatibility? Hell, LibreOffice is more compatible with various Word versions than the Word versions are among themselves. Tried to open a heavily automated and scrip-riddled document in Word97-2003 format in 365? Not for the faint of heart.

And please don't try something like "Who is still using Word97-2003". Unless you really want to show off you know nothing about the real world out there.

Bluntly, I don't give a shit about the one-in-a-million user that needs some special, obscure option that requires arcane incantation to make it surface and that only exists in the Japanese version of Word 365. By that metric it's trivial to find a LOT of reasons why you absolutely MUST use Linux because Windows just cannot do (insert arcane bullshit no sane person needs here).

  12. An organization whose only reason to exist hinges on people being unable to tell their boss "Stuff it, slaver, I quit!" when he makes unreasonable demands is against something that enables people to just get up and leave jobs with insane employers?

    That's unpossible!

  13. Dude, the cooperation between Nazis and Muslims was about as ideologically motivated as their cooperation with Japan. All that united them was a common enemy. If Germany had had those colonies in the area, they'd have allied with the English.

When the cost of labor drops, the demand for labor rises. Not at the same level, but still. You can hire someone to do a job that you cannot today because the benefit added is lower than the cost, which isn't the case anymore when the price tag drops. This coupled with fewer people actually seeking employment because you will invariably have a lot of people who are completely happy with just surviving and wasting their life as a couch potato will have a huge impact on unemployment.

Should, what I can't really see, for some odd reason the workforce drop so drastically that there is more work than people willing to do it, you can always adjust the UBI levels to the point where everyone has to work every now and then to get by.
