There are whole YouTube channels devoted to people creating optical illusions to make you think that something impossible was caught on camera. But as soon as it fits the own narrative and the own agenda, suddenly something gains insane amounts of credibility. Usually from the exact same people that just disparaged something that goes against their personal believes as fake, made up or fabricated.
What's "real" and what's "fake" is more and more dependent on what people want to believe, and less and less on reality.
