You are correct sir, fascism and communism (and democracy) are peoples movements, requiring popular support to exist.. Aristocracy and the monarchy are the ideals of the "right", one "god" to rule over all. All of them represent simple appeals to authority, different paths to the same goal.
Terrorism is a very marketable commodity. Bush didn't overreact. He sold everybody a bill of goods. He opened up a domestic market. The infrastructure and industry built around it now has a life of its own. Why not make every buck you can from it for as long as possible? Fear = Dollars. You know the game. It still seems that the UK is the real pioneer in the business though. I suppose being so much closer to the action would make it that way.
I hope he does something useful with the heat. And now we're giving the electric company some incentive to make viruses. If all this detective work generates so much revenue, well, as Kennedy said, "why not?"

And now we are trying move them out of Syria and Ukraine, and Georgia, etc. And yes, we are very busy thanking Saudi Arabia for dumping the oil. They are doing that as a 'friend', because we asked, nicely, with a big pile of money and weaponry, and even more of your tax dollars will subsidize them should there be any difficulties with the locals. It's all for Europe's benefit more than the U.S. directly. And it's working. The decline of the ruble is starting to make headlines. Their military can't afford to be so adventurous, can it?
