Well, kinda. The real story is of voter apathy and their own personal corruption. Until that is addressed and confronted, the circle will remain unbroken. It's not complicated
Or maybe NYC's political choices of late have led to poor governance.
Oops, you just closed the thread. The problem is simple corruption, going all the way down to the voters that keep on reelecting their favorite crooks.
There is no way he was hosting 6500 darkweb sites without lots of them being highly illegal.
And? That must be what people call a "non-sequitur". Who the hell cares about that? The "law" being so fluid these days, depending on the players, there's hardly any point in bringing it up.
Since they don't do backups, it would seem logical that their customers keep their own to re-upload.
Nope, you're just passing blame. The voters have all the power they need to elect the people they want, but 96% of them like things just they way they are.
Russian interference... Russian meddling... Russian activity... Russia fallout (oh dear! Another nuclear accident?)
You have everything but proof. Why does no one want to believe that the people that lied you into war 17 years ago (and many times before and after) could be lying still?
Absolute nonsense. They answer to the voters, not that the voters are demanding anything at the present besides phony tax cuts and other handouts. But if the voters ever decide to take charge, you will see a response. So please, stop with the silly phony 'libertarian' bullshit.
Now, since the voters don't give a damn, the corporation has all the government resources they could ask for. Their lobbyists write the laws and the government enforces them. The corp buys the politician through campaign contributions, the voters reelect them. If the politician doesn't do what the corp wants, that money goes elsewhere. Simple law of the jungle applies. But it's the voter who gives the final word. And they are saying, let the corporations run the government. Sorry, you're the one living in a fantasy, regurgitating 19th century propaganda.
The voters are letting it happen, at the very least. And the procedure for eliminating the electoral college is well documented. And vote tampering will be an issue until the voters actively demand an accountable system. Everything you describe is self inflicted. The voters have to be as active as paid lobbyists, and they can show their power by the simple act of voting out the incumbent party. But over 96% choose the GOP/DNC. What am I supposed to say? The Russians did it?
we're actually concerned most about whether this nation will go full Nazi, and whether a particular politician is hip to telecoms abusing their market positions is way, way down the list at the moment.
If it does go full Nazi, it is for the same reasons, the voters did it. Unless they turn their backs, the threat is very real. But everybody here is chasing ghosts to avoid seeing the real monster.
Don't know what else to tell you. If nobody can be bothered to make even the weakest effort to remove the incumbents, then, such is life. Comcast has all this power because the voters hand it to them on a silver platter with every reelection of the same old shit. Look nowhere else.
I have to paraphrase Homer: *The voters are the cause and the solution to all their problems*
Fine, vote for politicians that will change the regulations. All this other bullshit is just chasing your damn tail. Until you people make at least a feeble effort, your complaints don't mean much. Chronic problems like this are self inflicted.
End of story.

George Gobel saved Tulsa from the Japanese (19:11) during the war (the big one)
Customers don't have receipts either, eh?
And I want a Battle Unicorn
If enough people vote for one, you will have it. The system works!

Why all the excitement?
Finally got some good drainage... oh wait, is this thing below sea level?

That's not the party's fault.
They don't represent the majority of the people, anyway
I'm sorry, what? Over 96% of the people that vote voted for them. Sounds like a pretty big majority to me...
Can't. He's a danger to the leading narrative
A government is answerable to no-one

Men and nations behave wisely when they have exhausted all other resources... and supplies are running low.
They do? Since when?
Government, corporation. Please show the difference.
That's right. They're supported by ATM fees...
If I\d encase the receiver's antenna with a type of metal bowl that opens to the top...
I don't know. Do those things really work?
in a way that looks like Russia did it.
*cough*
I'm sorry, but what makes the private mercenary better than regular army?

In fact, only one telecom CEO in America refused to install the feds' equipment where it could be used to spy on Americans.
Independently verified? Or are we supposed to take them at their word?
but to where?
Yacy. If more people use it, it can only get better. And it's very resistant to censorship.
