    ...our biggest hurdle that we as a country need to overcome. Not race/gender equality or financial disparity, but the ability of this country to be propelled forward by a system that is representative to the needs of the many, not the powerful.

    It would definitely be a first, but it is important to make sure the 'many' don't overwhelm the one. A dictatorship of the many is no better then any other kind. What we are bumping up against are the limits of majority rule.

    You need to vote for candidates that aren't owned by the financiers, and you have to stop reelecting the ones who are. It's pretty straight up.

    I am willing to sacrifice 'efficiency' for more flexible fuel choices. The infrastructure for hydrogen will always be far too fragile to be practical, unless somebody invents a portable home distillery version to produce the fuel, but even then there's too much black box technology involved. Diesels and jets running on algae based fuels is probably the path of least resistance from a practicality viewpoint. The typical short term thinking bean counters have a different opinion.

    The best system will be like some places do with bikes now. You swipe your library card and use the 'transport pod' to go where you're going.

    Your only peaceful solution is your vote. If that is not respected, then I guess all bets are off. If the New York cops are any indication, you're in for a long fight.

    Do trival things like FCC regulations mean nothing ?!?!

    Maybe to Janet Jackson and Howard Stern's former employers, but they are a trivial part of doing business, and actually perform a sort of free advertizing service in the process.

    We over-produce and waste most of what we do. I would think a bit of prudence would be in order. Nobody has to suffer for it. But our present system precludes all that. Never mind the rocky shore, full steam ahead!

    I don't think I'd expect the same streaming services if I moved to another country...

    The internet makes that entirely possible, and it is most important not to allow any blockage because of economic/political ambitions and corruption.

    The only thing that keeps them from being able to say "Vote for Joe Blow or you will go to hell" is their tax exemption... Don't tax the churches, it removes the gag order on what they can say in the public forum!

    I guess you don't believe in free speech, huh? I don't see anything forcing you to believe what they say, do you? In other words, are you not free to ignore and mock them? That would be far better than gagging anybody.
