But Microsoft collect a "license fee" from all the major Android phone vendors for "patents" used in the Linux kernel.
Well then, Google shareholders and maybe Linus should buy and flip some Microsoft stock.. Try to get that money back. It seems that's how this little game is played. Like car dealers moving their inventory from lot to lot, or out of state to evade taxes. I mean license fees are a deductible business expense, right? Money goes to Microsoft for a while and it comes back through other venues. All this money movement is "good for the economy".
Well, I too, believe in "be fruitful and multiply", but we need to work out our resource management issues first, then there is no limit. We can infest the galaxy...
How about denying medical insurance coverage to those that fail to get vaccinated, unless they can demonstrate that they are a member of a recognized religious congregation that specifically is against vaccination as a part of church dogma?
Of all the reasons not to get vaccinated, that would be, by far, the the least valid, worse than Jenny's autism scare... And recognized? What does that mean? Recognized by whom?
I have to wonder if the metallurgical need for coal couldn't be satisfied by some of the extraction methods that are less destructive to the environment.
Nuclear powered tunnel boring machines, a side benefit would be the irony.
Thatcher and Reagan put their ideas into operation and both countries benefited.
Yeah, the price of cocaine went way down. As to who benefited, some people did, but I don't know any of them. I read about them in the gossip columns, sure, but few benefits ever trickled down our backs.
today more people realize that it is better to be free than "the ruled".
Nonsense. People are reactionary and fickle, and irrational. Most people don't want freedom. They want order and structure, and they don't care about whose toes they have to step on to get it.
Sure is funny hearing this come from her. Too bad none of this stuff has any effect on the elections. Why is it that we allow a single politician to have such a powerful influence on the rest of us who can't vote him/her out of office? It is so wrong. If we can't abolish these committees, then we should demand that the positions been drawn in a random fashion to help mitigate the corruption of careerism.
What's obvious has been obvious for a very long time. The only disagreement is when.
Our hard drives get bigger, the programs grow fatter. Everything grows as big as it can, and will use all the space and time has.

Even the summary said it was a sellout..
We give almost twice that much to the banks every month. As far as boondoggles go, I consider this a bargain.
3 months of "Quantitative Easing" just might do it.
Don't you have one of those dishwasher size nuclear power plants buried in your backyard? Why not?
Well, they could just burn the 83 bil a month they're giving to the banks...
