....Expect a LONG wait. Moving to Sprint from Verion for business reasons they said 2.5 to 6 hours. A week later, I was still waiting - and you are going to love the reason - the programmers had set the SS number fields as numeric - so anything with a leading zero - would not port.
It's 10 days later and here I sit - without it ported.........what a joke
There are exactly 1,372 offending lines of code..........I can prove that there are 25,647 known bad lines of code............I have definite proof that there are 1,000,000 known communists in the Linux kernel - ahh....I mean, lines of stolen code.....
IF.....you realize that the value is in the thought process. An MBA will give you the accounting, OB, stuff that the academics like......but.....the different thought process and the concept that a really cool idea is not destined to Make Money is the real value. Want to not waste that VC money - get an MBA.....

You are exactly right that it is illegal. But.....every state handles it differently and the rules are not always the rules. We once had fine phone and mail delivery systems.....then the 'profit monster'got in the way.

OK Adam. I've 20 plus years of broadcast and computing too. Formats and the subsequent addition of the "Radio Consultant" (anyone remember the WKRP episode - it's for real) are the deathknell of creativity. Let's let it be fun and unique - not a 'top 40' wasteland.
This is a really good thing - I've used Maxspeed (with VM386 multiuser DOS - ok - but the install has been in place 7 years and running strong) and they make fab product. They may not be Big and'Active' but they are responsible and worth a look.

I do the IT for a friends' beer store - we just put in a new POS system and camera's so he can wathc the store from home.
